Anyone seen the new Orencia commercial? Just makes me wanna slap someone! None of them hand finger deformities. And yet the commercial asked Can you grip this cup? Button a button? and on and on and on. And those peoples fingers had no deformities. I know I looked hard for finger deformities.
So... I guess it is saying if you start Orencia a little while after being DXed you will not get finger deformities? What about if you already had RA before you were DXed properly and have finger deformities?

The only commercial for the biologicals I kinda did not get pissed at seeing was the Humira commercial where the woman was walking down the sidewalk with her daughter and then after taking it she was able to walk better. It kinda did help our cause, as it showed "x-rays". But still was a crock of sh*t!
Anyways Yeah those commercials really irritate me.

Too funny Joonie! I watched them all. Just a note though, I had a very difficult time doing buttons, opening jars from RA with no deformity but lots of stiffness. to go back to Joonies original post. I have severe RA and if you look at my hand x'rays it looks like giant bites have been taken out of each of my knuckles. But, if you looked at my hands they look remarkably good. I can't bend my fingers cause of the damage or make a fist and when I try my fingers cross but there are no obvious defromities. I have very little soft tissue damage in my hands and that is what causes most hand deformities.Thanks for the insight, buckeye.
I guess I think everyone should have deformities in their fingers like me.
