Mornin'! Yeah, that's right 12am is MORNING to me today. I'm at work. Bleh, NOT enjoying it this time. I'm not sure why. For the past few weeks I'd been enjoying my 2 nights of solitude. But I'm irritable today. OMG IT JUST DAWNED ON ME. :| PMS. Hahahahaha

Okay anyway.

Oh yeah, it's totally PMS, I just realized I'm stuffing my face with chocolate. grrr and I have so many little things I have to do tonight and tomorrow morning too. And I'm in no mood for ANY of them.

The weather is being glorious and I'm truly enjoying it.  The boys are going skateboarding for an hour or so and I guess that means I should make some dinner.  I'm thinking cornish pastie and a salad.

Hope somebody wakes up soon so I don't have to start talking to myself (more than I usually do

Pammykins hopefully after this 5 weeks you can have a doctor break! lets hope!

I will definitely have a break,  I'm going away for 10 days after Christmas so no appointments then

I just put my pastie in the oven so dinner will be in about an hour.  Jordan is off skating with his friend Julian who is staying with us.  KNowing my luck they are not just skating they are also toking their hearts out.   Maybe not, Jord  did say he and Jules were going to start cutting down and quit sometime soon.  That would be nice.

Merryn and her friend Bethany have decided they need to move out of home cause they're big girls now.  Mer is really enjoying her job at the Optician and once she saves up some money and gets herself a car they will be moving out together.

Jordan and Jules are planning on moving out together with another friend but I think that might take a while.

When they all go we will be alone in a 5 bedroom house.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL How old are your kids??

Jordan is 21 and Merryn is 23

Ah, gotcha! I think my mom woulda kicked me out if I'd stayed past 21. LOL NaaaahhhhhhMy parents sold the house on me when I was overseas when I was 22.  I came home to 'no fixed abode'.  That was kind of harsh.  Wow! Why did they do that? I was joking, BTW. My mother would house me until the day I died. She lurvs me.

Have fun Katie baby.

Oh yes. "fun"

They pay people for 8 hours of work for this job, and it only takes about 2. Tops. And you get paid more, cause it's overnights. It's amazing. I'm SO BORED!

Enjoy your day - may pain be minimal!

lorrie2008-11-20 23:57:02Ooo what's her Yahoo name?? I'll sign on and say hi to her!!!

I'm baaaack!

My arches of my feet are killing me and swollen.  They burn and sting.  I've tried insoles and they hurt even more.  I tried icing them earlier today cause they say that is good....I could hardly keep my feet on the ice pack the pain was so intense.  This is really starting to suck. I never had a single bit of trouble until 6 weeks ago.  The stupid thing is that I don't have any heel pain, none, nada, its all up the front of my arch behind my toes.  I can find anything on the net about pain there.  I guess its back to the doctor again, maybe I'll make an appointment when I call tomorrow to get my referrals.  I even tried neurofen gel and didn't notice ANY difference.

Oh well, I've taken my bed time meds and am having a cup of tea and trying more ice.  And the electric blanket is on

I'm soooo incredibly ticklish.  If Mark raises his finger at me from across the room I will start to fidget. If he actually touches my feet I will just about boot him through the wall just from the reflex.  I can't even touch my own feet much of the time to cut my toenails or loofah my feet or put lotion on.  It's pretty sad.

I got up with the roosters this morning or I should say because of the roosters.  They were going at it at 5 am and woke me up with their cock a doodling.  Course I went to be at 8 last night and by 5 this morning I was ready to get up for the day.

We're off on a picnic to Organ Pipe Cactus National Park today and maybe some rock hounding later today.

For some reason I have a sore throat.  Haven't had a cold or sore throat in 3 or 4 years.  My allergies have been bad here in the Sonoran Desert so maybe it's just allergies. I hope that's all it is.  I'm supposed to shoot up with Humira and MXT this evening and I'm not sure if I should.  What do you guys think, RD's office is closed?  No cough, a little runny nose, chest feels a little tight but that could just be my imagination.

Check back later after our desert picnic.  Everyone have a wonderful day.  Lindy

Astrologically speaking, the adventuresome Sagittarius Moon encourages us to take the road to take a risk in the hope of a favorable outcome. A conjunct with expansive Jupiter pushes us to exceed our limits and rush toward the edge and step into the abyss.

I have taken an oath to be practical, to keep reminding myself of my limits, to resist the lure of reckless engagement, and to recognize the fantasy that makes me think I can help anyone but myself.

Having said that, it is low profile week for me; I cannot afford expending physical, mental, or emotional energy in a foolhardy manner.

I hope your day is filled with comfort and contentment rather than contention and combat.

Con brio. happGoodmorning!  Had a LONG day yesterday.  My brother was at the house all morning, then we dropped the kids off at my aunts house cause they were having a bday party for her two youngest and for my grandma, then we went to my dads to find out what is staying at the house when he moves and how much utilities are. Then we went back to my aunts house to eat and have cake. So we are going to be moving the week of Christmas but after the actual holiday. Im SOO excited

Been away for a while dealing with docs, lead inspectors and contractors.  The docs decided 3 weeks ago to take Isabel off her lead medication much to my dismay.  Well, we saw her regular lead doctor on the 5th and he decided to put her back on it.  He seems to agree with me that she wasn't getting any new lead exposure but rather that the calcium in her toddler toothpaste was deactivating the med.  So, we're back on the med, off the toothpaste.  However in that 3 week period of time, I had lead inspectors, dept of health nurses, contractor and various other people in the house or on the phone to deal with.  My house was crazy!  On a positive side, although Isabel's blood lead levels did go up a couple of points, her lead count that actually does the most damage has gone down and is almost back to normal.  Yahoo!!!

Katie, glad to hear that Justin is coming along.  Will hope for a release from the hospital soon.

Shannon,  I'm glad that you're excited about your move.

Hope everyone else is doing good.

 Hey everyone

Stephanie I was wondering about you and the baby, I'm glad to hear everythings all right.

Shannon, sounds like you are going to be having a busy few weeks getting ready to move and having Christmas in the middle and then moving.  Make sure you pace yourself so you don't end up a blithering mess when it is all over

Steph, glad Isabels lead levels are coming down.  That must be a huge relief for you.

Pammy you don't what you're missing with a foot massage. It is heavenly to me, makes me feel good all over. Hubby rubs lotion on my feet and massages them once in a while...it's better than sex!

Don'rt ask me Pammy...I have selective amnesia

Pammy, I can be pretty ticklish too, but not quite as bad as you, I guess!

Glad your cough has improved Mona.  Have you tried Mucinex - it's an over-the-counter med that works so well for me in drying up mucuos.

Steph, I'm so glad to hear things are back on track with Isabel.  Kudos to you for staying on top of everything!

I feel really very good today!  Don't know why, but I'm enjoying it!

Hey Karen.

Pammy I am that way with my knees...can't stand for my knees to be tickled...makes my pee in my pants!

Steph, Im SO glad your baby is doing better.  Lets hope the numbers will stay down.

Oh, so now I've been invaded by ladybugs!!!!!!!! They are all on the outside of my house, it kinda looks funny.

Katie, I haven't had much of a chance to talk to you lately, but you guys have been in my daily thoughts. I'm glad Justin is doing so much better. It sure sounds like it could have been bad, very bad. He was lucky they caught it when they did. I hope he does get to come home soon, so you both can rest up and recover. Sounds like you've done an awesome job holding down the fort. I bet the kitties are climbing the walls wanting their daddy home! Take care....

Deb

Well thank goodness I could share the bugs with someone. I couldn't be happier for ya Shannon.[QUOTE=sgordon69]

Steph - I was beginning to wonder about how you & Isbel was doing. I was just about to make a post asking if anyone heard from you, because i know I had not seen a post from you in awhile. It just seems I am always to slow to the posting.

I am glad to hear Isbel is back on her meds and is doing better. I hope she continues to improve and hope you are taking good care of yourself as well.

Please keep us posted on how you both are.

Someone could have mentioned that the post office and library are closed today. I could have stayed in my pjs all day. Oh Shoot Diedre, I made myself a mental note to pass the info along just for you. I knew you would want to join me in an "all day pj day".

Maybe after I have my operation in a couple of weeks I won't pee as much

How's that cough this evening?

I'm here Mona! A nap sure sounds wonderful right now! LOL

Hey Gale,

How are you doing?  Did you work today?

Hi Karen! Yep, I worked half a day, came home and took a nap, got up and ate dinner, and I'm ready for another nap. LOL

I'm doing better than last week, but still feel kind of wiped out.

Brisen I didn't mean to take a nap at 8pm, I'll never go to sleep tonight. How do you feel today? Did you work?

Well just don't push yourself too much.  Take it easy!

Mona, you don't have distemper - you have just developed a bad case of kennel cough!

That's what ya get for sleeping with the dog!

Boy thats a relief Karen...Link was ready to have me put down.

I'm getting a new kitchen up do!

That's really exciting Mona!  Are you going with granite countertops?

de'javu

How exciting! I'd love to have my kitchen done! What have you decided on so far??

Hi Link!

Hey there Link!

I take it you have had this conversation already?

hi karen...yeah the other night I came on and the first thing I saw was something about granite counter tops!!Hey Gale, glad you're feeling better.Well maybe you can tell us what Mona is doing - she seems to be lost in cyberland somewhere!

Hey Link!

Well I haven't decided on anything yet...hubby and I went to every home improvement store in 3 counties saturday and I still don't know. I know I want beadboard doors for the cabinets, a black sink and black range hood...I'm leaning towards granite but maybe ceramic for the countertops.

Black granite would be sweet!Sounds great Mona!  I would vote for the granite over ceramic - less maintenance!Yeah, I'm a fan of granite too.I wish all of you guys could come on a bit earlier. I'm so sleeepy all of the sudden, I gotta go to bed.  Nite. I know Gale and it is sooo pretty, with flecks of gold and silver in it....but my cabinets need to be lighter, they're cherry and pretty dark. I don't want white  so I'm thinking almond but then my appliances are white and black

 good night Link

Hubby doesn't like ceramic either Karen or painted cabinets.

I can't afford new cabinets Karen

How you been doing Jay? ready for Christmas decorating?

Oh Gale, I am so jealous!  Being short really doesn't suit my larger than life personality! Gale people are awfully pissy lately aren't they? It's sad and dicouraging at times. I've even gotten pissy a time or two and I'm always nice.

Are you busting at the seams Karen? I am too but it's not because of my larger than life personality. I think it's the beans and taters.

5'8" here.

Gale I agree. I got a little deffensive and through poor judgement sent out an unkind PM to one of our newer members. I have since said I'm sorry but it may be a little late.

Yeah, I think we need to prescribe a large dose of EXLAX for everyone!  Folks seem to be a wee bit constipated these days.

I'm just flying low (cause I'm short) under the barbs being tossed back and forth!

Now you're talkin' Karen!

I'm trying to fly low (and bite my tongue) but it ain't easy!

I will never be able to catch up with all of the posts but it is kind of sad. For the most part I realy enjoy visiting everyone here. Some time others just bring everyone down.

The thing is, I have come to the conclusion, that even though I have brilliant insight and all the right answers, it's best to keep my opinions to myself on these high drama threads!

I do too Gale and Karen...I hate contraversy and I hate to hurt someones feelings but sometimes you think your 2 cents worth has to be said... and I've chewed my tongue raw and walked away many times. I would leave here before I let my posts become toxic on a regular basis. Life's to short to be miserable or to make someone miserable

This production of Chicago was disappointing for me

Gale I am so proud of you! I have not bought one present. My kids won't tell me what they want. Well Trey said clothes as usual and the girls both want new cameras. But thats all I know... oh and hubby wants a new golf club.

I think I'm going to have to find a way to buy my hubby a laptop for the sake of our marriage, LOL!  He keeps stealing mine just to check his email and then play solitaire.  GRRRRR!

Does Trey let you pick out his clothes? I wouldn't THINK of buying clothes for my kids...they're just WAAAAAYYY to picky!

OK guys, I have a serious question...

What the heck's a Dicker Schwanz????

Yep Gale he does, always have. And he is super picky. I know what he likes and where to get them and I can fit him to a tee. Even underwear

I have no clue Gale...google it! < =text/>_popupControl(); OK I posted this over in the Meeting forum but I kinda want it over here too so more people see it.

Please add a wounded hospital soldier to your Christmas card list.  No matter your feelings on the war, please make a human being a little happy while they are in the hospital over the Holiday Season.

Thank you everyone!!!

LOL, I just googled it and every site that came up was in German. Apparently, it has something to do with the male anatomy though.

        Ya don't say Gale????

Gale I do not think they look any different in Germany!

 Great Idea Gramma!

Well I need to go and clean the kitchen, that I hate more than ever now, and mop the floor. I hate to get up to a messy kitchen

Guess I'm outta here too...The Bachelor, Girls Tell All is coming on soon.

Talk to ya'll tomorrow! Smoochies!!

G'nite Mona!

Oh there ya go again with a serious post again Liz!  Good idea though!

Night Gale and Mona.

Jay, the theatre we are involved with has a mainstage theatre which seats 1776, and a studio theatre which seats about 200.  Between the two theatres the stage company puts on about 10-12 shows a year.  We are usually involved in one way or another - either backstage and behind the scenes, or at least to usher.  So that's a lot of shows.

We got started in 1990 when our daughter was cast in a production of Wizard of Oz and well, the rest is history.  Our kids have grown up there, found their careers there, and learned so much!

Karen it sounds wonderful. All of my children have been and they all love it. None of us are involved like your crew, but I would start today if I could. I have heard nothing but good things about Wicked so I am sure you are correct that we will LOVE it.Check out the websites for theatres near you and see if they have any info about volunteering.  It's a great way to get out of the house and have some fun, without breaking the bank!I will thanks. I am heading to bed soon TTYL

Yeah I think it's that time.

Good nite Jay and anyone else out there!
