Well, I’m back after 3 weeks – miss me? I was driving my motorized wheelchair up the ramp of my van after shopping when one wheel got off. I was wearing a new wrist brace I had gotten an hour earlier and it felt awkward. And the sun was in my eyes. Anyway the chair and I went off the ramp sideways and we landed on my elbow.   I broke all three bones in my right arm. Plus other assorted scrapes and bruises.

So I’m in a big cast for I don’t know how long. And I think I’ve earned a few hugs and a little sympathy! LOL

Actually the worst is that the other arm is my bad arm – the bicep is torn completely off the bone and the rotator cuff is shot so I can’t reach my face, comb my hair, brush my teeth, feed myself, dress myself, write a check, scratch my head, get my hair out of my mouth, you name it! Very frustrating!! And I sleep all the time! I’m getting PT and OT and an aide for an hour in the morning, but they agree I still need a lot of help.

Oh well, this too will pass and no one will know in a hundred years as my grandma always said! LOL
