Last night my son called to tell me that he and his wife were on their way to the hospital to hopefully have their baby. I live 2 hours from them (but they are moving back home next summer) so my husband and I got in the car and headed to the hospital (Niagara Falls) We got there at 11:00pm and she had the baby at 5:30am this morning.
Oh the feelings that come over you from the birth of a child. I just love that precious baby girl! I miss her already. We had to come home since my husband had a dental app't at 11:00am and since he's been in pain, I didn't think he'd want to cancel it. My husband and I haven't had any sleep yet either so we're both ready for a nap, but I have a lunch date with a friend that was made before I knew the baby was on her way...so after lunch, I'm off to bed for a while.
Her name is Bailey and she weighed 7lbs 9oz.
What a beauty. I'm so happy for you
I love the name Bailey! She a little sweetie - when are you going back to hold her again? If you drive really fast, maybe you can make it in an hour and a half, LOL. Congratulations, Kelly! I know you have many years of joy ahead of you, being a gramma. Enjoy every moment! Pretty baby!!
