I've noticed there are several people with these DXes on this board. Since they are AI diseases we're probably more prone to them, and may come across them from time to time. Since Justin's hospital stay this last trip, we've gotten some AWESOME charts and lists for foods, and food preperation, etc etc. I've already e-mailed one set to a couple of people on here who are newly DXed. If anyone is interested in them, give me your e-mail address and I'll send them over. I only have the one chart typed up so far. I have one more to go yet, but will glady send that one out as well. My e-mail address is arriscolwell@gmail.com, or you can just PM me your email address.

Thanks heaps Katie   I'm hoping it will really help

Me too hun! Me too!

Oh oh, and like they always say when your tum tum is upset, before starting a regular diet, do 4 or 5 days on the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) and THEN start this diet. It'll be easier to tell what's bothering you, and what you can and can't tolerate.

Good luck!!!

this is gonna be a killer Katie......I love Love LOVE  my fresh fruit and vegetables.  I'm gonna do it though, starting with brekky tomorrow I'm starting.  I have to get a few things in (like more apples and bananas

Try getting your fix of those with sugar free, seedless jams! Those are okay! :)
Oh, and if you can only find seedless, thats fine, just don't overload. If you had to pick between sugar free and seedless, I'd say go seedless EVERY time. We get sugar free seedless blackberry for Justin all the time! I don't understand---is this an elimination diet? An anti-inflammation diet?
A What Is Your Pooh Telling You diet? What? What? I must know.LOL It's just a list of recommended healthy foods that *should* not aggravate diarrhea, and a list of foods that will aggravate it. You can turn it into an elimination diet, if you take it one category at a time (milk & dairy, veggies, meats etc etc) It also has a guidelines sheet that just gives some basic dos and don'ts for IBS and Crohns. Whew! Thanks for ending my suspense!
