Ha!!! Me got here first.

Wakey Wakey girls and boys, shake off that nasty case of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and face the day.

My hubby is just getting over his SAD, he has a terrible time every winter, now that it is fully spring and the days are long and warm he is much happier.  He loves the sunshine.  I think when he retires we will be joining the 'grey nomads' and head north every winter.

Guess what he brought home from work today... a (FREE!!!!)  laptop.  Provided by the College!!  How exciting.   We have wireless internet so I will be able to post from bed at 2am when I can't sleep!!  You'll never get rid of me now.

I had an appointment with my GP today to remind him of the referral I need to the neurosurgeon (for my neck).  Well I finally got it (he takes ages to write referrals).  I figured I'd call and get an appointment int he new year, you know what specialists are like.  Well I called when I got home and I have an appointment ont he 27th!!!  of THIS  month.  I hope I can get something done soon cause the numbness and pain and tingling in my arm and shoulder and up the back of my head is driving me crazy and seems to be getting worse almost by the day.

I also called my RD and she said I only have to stop my MTX the Friday before my surgery (its on the Monday) and I just have to stop the ARAVA for two or three days then I can start it again after the surgery is over!!.  I have already stopped my Celebrex (cause it makes me bleed so much and because I'm trying to see if it is upsetting my tummy)  I've been off since Tuesday and I'm feeling a bit like the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz.  I'm getting stiffer and stiffer as the hours go by and I feel like I need a few drops of oil in my joints so that I can dance again. It's still nighty night here! But I'm headed to bed soon. The kitten is being a complete TERROR  I was trying to play with her earlier and get some energy out, and she tore the HELL out of my arm and hand. I have got to pin her down to clip her nails soon. Poo-poo. Ha!   Cat scratches, hee hee  that reminds me of what happened when Merryn went into Emergency a couple of weeks ago when she had her nasty infected cyst.   A couple of weeks before that the cat had been lying on the edge of her bed.  She woke up and stretched and started to slip off the bed. Merryn was rubbing her tummy at the time and when Gwyn started to slip she started scrabbling away with her claws  to stay on the bed.  You can imagine what the back of Merryn's hand looked like

Katie...sorry about the kitty...she's probably just glad someone is home to play with.

Pammy...sorry I was trying to sleep as much as possible.

Shannon...careful with all of those trips...don't wear yourself out too much.

I have some sort of nasty germ bestowed on me by one or more of the second graders I was put in charge of this week.  I sometimes question my choices about teaching youngsters with green stuff.  I am bio-frozen in several joints and am going to eat b-fast and sleep just a while longer.

Love to you all! shel

Hey Shelly~  Little kids and germs, one of the few things they never mind sharing.  Hope you feel better.

I saw my RD yesterday and he has me switching to injectable MTX. I wish I wasn't such a chicken about it. Wonder if I have the guts to stick a needle in my leg.  We shall see.....

And I have to clean out my son's closet because my daughter is moving in to his old bedroom now that he's gone.  I don't know where I'll put all his stuff.

Katie~ have fun with your wacky little kitty.  Bet it's not easy to clip those claws.

Guess I better go get started. Have a good one everybody.  Oh, and Pammy~ That's pretty sweet about the new lap top.  Now if we can only get you up to the northern hemisphere, everything will be perfect!!

Hey it won't matter what hemisphere I'm in, I never sleep so I can be around all the time and not even have to get out of bed.  (like now...it's 3am

Shannon, be careful you don't overdo it.

Shelly, Linc is right, kiddies LOVE sharing germies, it's one of their true talents.  There should be a germ sharing mark on their report cards,  it would be a sure A+ for almost every single one of them....Shannon, when the hell are you planning on RESTING? Just curious!

Shannon~I am with Katie....just wondering about resting some over the holiday?  Who is cooking the meal...hopefully not you?

Link~you can do it!!!  I guess the only advice is just do it!(sounds like a Nike commercial!)

Katie~have fun with the kitten claws....I groomed my little doggie a little the other night, and she did not like that at all.  Oh, they love me alright....and they share things they should not.  DH is getting sick too.  Great!!!  Although he asked if I was going to try to work today...um NO!  Besides I took my MTX last night....what a great day I am having today!

OHH NO im not cookin!!!

OMG.... there was a mouse in his tummy

He loves boxes and to save fingers getting scratched from the ultra speedy sharp claws I use a knitting needle to stratch the outside of the box to play with him. Just such fun.

Sarah......you have a gardener?  Sweet.LMAO! God forbid a cat CHEW his food, right??? My little piggy swallows almost everything whole. I made a tuna wrap last night, and you'd have thought she hadn't eaten in MONTHS the way she screamed at me. So pathetic!

LOVE YAS!!!

So what would the difference be between my normal self and being lightheaded

And you can't SMELL the gas, that's why they make detectors!

Just be a good girl!

Oh and stupid Yahoo messenger wont fricken work either...STUPID technology

Hmmm okay well, I do know that some systems put an additive, so that you can smell it. But it's not as common as it should be. Maybe your gas has it!

Well the pilot light is back on but its still freakin cold out.
Katie, the furnace does automatically go off when the pilot light goes off.  No need to worry your pretty head

Kelsay I agree, when I put my oven on before it lights it stinks. Hope the weather isnt too cold (its freezing in edinburgh) for you and the family... you'll all have to snuggle under duvets to keep warm whilst watching tv.
