Goodmorning!!  Boy am I sore today...which i kinda figured I would be. Dont have much going on today except for having to go to Walgreens, the post office, and the currency exchange.

Hope everyone has a great day today!!!

If you did half the things you wanted to do yesterday it's no wonder you are sore today.  I hope everything went well.

I had a quiet 'day after MTX day'.  Just went to practice for tomorrows worship team then came home and toodled over to sons work to check out their sale.  After that I slept

Which is what I should be doing now cause its 1am

Oh, I have to put away her clothes too.  Im gonna really go through em and see what does and doesnt fit her.  Maybe depending on how im feeling ill pack some boxes up.  I picked some up yesterday from a fellow freecycler and she gave me 2 wardrobe boxes, 2 dish pack boxes and like 12 regular size boxes.  I dont think im gonna have to get any more which i wasnt looking forward to anyway cause they are expensive!!  But I will take it easy today...I'll go slow!

Shannon, I didn't see most of the chat thread yesterday.  For the past few days actually.  I'm assuming you got that house and your getting ready to move?  How exciting, big job though.  Hope you're getting some help.

Limk~ I am trying to convince hubby to mive before christmas.  yea ill be geting sone help.  Good thing is i dont have to move any of the big stuff!

I think the last post I read about it, you said you had to find someone to lease the place your'e in now.  How's that going?

We arent doing that.  Its not our responsibility to find a new renter.  We have been dealing w/ issues that our landlord said that would get taken care of since April that he still has yet to do.  We resigned the lease on the agreement that he would do all of that.

Oh, good.  One less thing to think about!  That seems like it would have been a giant hassle.Hi all!  I've had quite a busy week, starting last Sunday night.  As some of you remember, the oldest boy got a cut on his thumb last week.  It was fine until Sunday night.  When we changed the bandaid, the cut had a bulging pocket of stinky brown pus. He had not complained of any pain!!!  He had been playing rough all day long as if nothing was wrong.  I drained the pus pocket and soaked his hand in very warm saline to clean it out, and then took him to acute care.  He would not/could not tell the doctor how it happened, so she ordered x-rays to see if there were any foreign objects in the cut.  None found, so she gave us a script for antibiotics and sent us on our way (4 hours later).  We got home around midnight.  Well, the next morning the ER doc calls to tell me that the radiologist reviewing the films saw a possible fracture and that he needed to have a splint put on it as soon as possible.  I left work to buy a splint, go to the school and splint his thumb.  Yikes!  We had a followup with our regular pediatrician the next morning, and he had not yet received the radiologist's report.  He said the only time it would be a matter of concern was if the fracture was through the growth plate, and he would call me when he got the report if it was a growth plate thing.  So, of course, he calls as I'm driving home on Tuesday evening.  It's a possible growth plate fracture, so we have to see an orthopedic surgeon.  So the next morning I call the orthopedics office (I'm a frequent customer!!!) and they want to see him right away.  So I go to the acute care center, get a copy of the x-rays, go to the school and get the boy, and go to the orthopedics office (all of these in separate towns... I drove about 60 miles that morning!!).  Well, the doctor looked at the x-rays, looked at the thumb, twisted it around a bit, and said that all the other doctors were over-reacting.  There is no break.  OMG.  At least we got a copy of the x-rays in electronic format so the boys can see what is inside of a human hand... it's pretty cool software!  :)
Oh and the week has been filled with meetings meetings meetings... RCIA (Catholic boot camp), school board, neighborhood watch, political fundraisers.  Today I declare is the Day of the Butt.  I'm gonna sit on mine all day long.  I've got alot of reading to catch up on.  I might clean my room and the kitchen this evening; it looks as though we have pet tornadoes.  The boys (all three) have to rake leaves, clean the man room (living room) and the bathroom (they are gross; they can clean it up). OMG Jas..What a busy week for you!!!  How are you feeling through all of this?  Good to hear there is no fracture.  What a pain though!  Is it bothering him any?Oh no. My granddaughter is growing up. We had a terible crisis last night. And oh the drama. Well her friend was sent home and she was sent to bed. Well it just wasn't fair, she said she was only a little bit bad not really bad and it wasn't fair. And the whole world it seems was just ruined. She was afraid she would not get to go to the carnival at school today or even ever get to play with her friend again. I had told her she was probably exagerating a bit, and that i thought she was just angry and not a bad person. She said she was not angry she was mad at everyone even the person on the phone , which was me of course. Anyway i got a phone call this morning as it turns out she gets to go to the carnival today and bring her friend. Daddy even made her special pancakes. And she was sorry if she had said anything to hurt my feelings. I am just thinking all this drama isn't supposed to happen at age 7. Twelve i am and thinking is more age appropriate. But she had recently moved across the country and misses her old school and me of course. As soon as i get my work caught up and feel a bit better i will go see her. Anyway my wake up call said it is a wonderful day so lets all try to take advatage of that.Deleted for being too negative.Happ39403.597662037

< =text/>_popupControl(); OMG Kelly!!! I was holding my breath reading your post!

Well.......I got Justin's meds from wally world - I was REALLY bummed because I could only get 4 of the 5. The 6th was an anti-inflam for colotis and crohns. But it was TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS! Hah! So I came home apologizing to him (which he shook his head at like I was a dork LOL) and we sat and went through his meds. Weeeelll, there was one in there that I had NEVER heard of, so I showed it to him, and he got all excited!! Hahaha it was listed as a chemo drug, but apparently he's taken it before and it worked WONDERS for him! And it was affordable!! SO YAY!!!

We kept the name of the 0 one and we're gonna call the doc on monday and let him know. Shew. Maybe he'll have something cheaper. Justin also got his anxiety meds - TEN BUCKS! YAY! and his steroids, and b12 injections....WEIRD! But he must need it for something. I'm gonna do some googling on that one!

So we're happy campers today!!
OMG Jas..What a busy week for you!!!  How are you feeling through all of this?  Good to hear there is no fracture.  What a pain though!  Is it bothering him any?
LOL - on Wednesday, after the orthopedic visit, and after I took him back to school, I went home and slept for 2 hours.  And through an incredible stroke of luck, I had a sub for Bingo that night.  The week before, a friend of mine offered to work for me this past Wednesday, as I have not had a week off in months.  WOOHOO!!!! I put pajamas on at 7PM and was asleep by 9PM.

Jasmine: My son (18 soon), thinks a dartgun finger would be fab, we laughed our socks off, and if he was able to have a 'special power' he'd want wings!

Today I got up and my sinusitis is bad, face all swollen, MiL took one look at me this afternoon (she comes up for tea and cakes on a Saturday afternoon), and said she didnt need to ask if it was  bad day. I just dont want to go back for more antibiotics (stamping of feet). I decided this week I'd eat myself through a huge array of colourful, vitamin loaded fuit and veggies.... so far its not working as the week has gone on its all got worse.

Our 10 year old tv finally died this week, its been trying for a couple of months so we (well husband and son), decided now would be a good time to get one of these big flat screen tv's. I dont know how it is over in the states unless you pay for someone to come and set it up for you ... they dont. Hubby had faith.... I managed to get the tv and sky (I think you call it cable), all sorted... however when it came to the dvd recorder, 4 hours of frustration had me taking the machine back to the shop today before I stamped on it

So, like some of you I've done the sit on bum and nap on and off all day today. I've just had a long soak, done some girly hair removal stuff and am sitting down to 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here'.

Hoping you are all having a good weekend.

Aw Sarah! You're not even supposed to touch the sky box, or the tv, or the recorder. Make the boys do it!!!

When we can't afford a med, we just.....don't get it.

So I'm at work, and it's nice and sllooowww yay!

I want a DVR!!!!!!!  Though im not sure id use it cause all the shows i want to watch i watch, none of which conflict...but i still want one

Oh, that's right. It's saturday. You all have lives. LOL I cooked a big dinner, and other than that I have been lounging around in my Mama Suit (long flannel nightgown) all day.  I did shower at 5PM, before dinner... and I put on a clean Mama Suit.
