I havent posted or been in touch with the board for a few months dont want to get into the hows and whys...
things with my ra are so much worse....my elbows and wrists and fingers hurt none stop and my ankles are not far behind I need to take pain medication to function at work and the whole pain medication thing scares the heck out of me.....my mom died addicted for over 50 years to medications !!!!!! I am retiring on Dec 14 and will be interested to know if that changes the pain level at all.
I see most of the postings here are positive again and that is good.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain and I hope you feel better soon. I bet after you retire, a lot of that will go away. My doc tells me stress can cause RA to rear it's ugly head. Maybe you won't have to take as much pain meds once you're able to relax at home and rest. A lot to look forward to.

Gramma congratulations on your upcoming retirement. I'd be willing to bet you'll see a big improvement when you no longer have the stress of a work schedule. I'll be amazed if you don't feel much better overall. So sorry to hear you're doing worse! Especially with the holidays around the corner! I hope retirement will work out and the pain will lessen!
