Has anyone had (or having) an unusual Thanksgiving day?
We are going up to Big Sur, beach area to the North, meeting friends and family and having a big BBQ at the campground, then taking a hike and walking the beach around sunset. My son and his family will be here and they have brough dirt bikes to ride at Pismo Beach. OH, it is 75 degrees. Lynda
Hi Lynda, That sounds like a nice way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The weather has to be much better than it is in PA. We're just going to be home with my oldest son. A typical Thanksgiving.

For me, it was a nice day and this year, I didn't DROP the turkey!!! Had a turkey dinner with all of the fixings. The only thing that was store brought was the pumpkin pie. Everthing else was fresh made.
One last thing, thank god for vicodin and roomies who helped with the dinner prep. Couldn't have done it on my own.
