Good Morning Ladies and Gents,

I hope all of you are having a great Black Friday!

I have had a hopeless night!  I cannot believe how much pain and numbness I have.  I will be taking it easy as soon as DD and I are back from shopping.

Thursday was MTX day, so tummy is mad, joints are mad, and I just want some shut eye.  Glad I told everyone I was on strike during dinner last night!  How was yours?

edited because stinkin' hands won't let me type....can't feel!!!

Had a lovely Thanksgiving....one of the best in years!

Goodmorning everyone.
Shell,Im sorry your having a bad morning.  Hope you get some good stuff today while you are shopping.

Im alright today. Sore and my hands are kinda bothering me.  Going to my dads again today.  My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are comging down.  Also going to spend time w/ my family thats in town from Ohio.  Thanksgiving was really nice.  It was pretty hard for my grandpa, but hes doing alright considering.  They were talking in the kitchen yesterday and I only caught the end part of the conversation but he was saying that when hes out shopping or anywhere he rushes so he can get home right away, but when he gets home he realizes that there is no one there.  It was just really sad.

I am dreading today... I have to drive right through a major shopping thoroughfare on my way to and from work.  Hopefully the real "high class" North Shore broads won't be lowering themselves to shop on Black Friday.  On the other hand, they'll probably just send their maids out to do it and they can't drive either!!! My poor hubbie got up at 3:30 am to make it in at 5:00 a.m. to prepare for a one hour earlier opening at 9:00 a.m.   He said they had about 300 people at the doors and this one coupon item sold out in 15 minutes at 9.00 a pop.  And he said the Best Buy store close by opened at 5:00 a.m. and there were people who had camped out to be the first ones in line.  I slept in and feel great.  LOL  I am going to start a slow Christmas unpacking and a ruthless culling of my gorgeous treasures as I know this is the last year I will be able to get a tree up.  Well, I went to work today, and when I got there I realized I had forgotten my computer. [QUOTE=justsaynoemore]...ruthless culling of my gorgeous treasures as I know this is the last year I will be able to get a tree up.

MWUAHAHAHAHAHA I DON'T WORK IN RETAIL THIS YEAR!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crap side of that - i get to drive past all three malls on my way to work! JOY! not....

Shel - take it easy today hun! *hugs*

Good afternoon everyone,

I got up about 8 went to the mall, stopped by starbucks for coffee and was home by 10:45. Put the tree up and am heading to work. I think it has been the most productive day in a long time.

Oh No! I just made a beautiful coconut pie from scratch. Near the end time I checked it....it looked like cornbread! It had risen 2 inches above the pan. I had grabbed the self rising flour instead of the plain.

I'm gonna do it...........

Dingbat!!!!

*runs*

dear shelly, so glad you had a wonderful Tgiving day, that helps when we are hurting, we need the comfort of our families at these important holidays. Nice job on preparing a lovely meal.

So sorry about your pain, I hope the docs can help you!!!

Love ya, Lynda

Katie...I'll get you my little pretty!

Miss Katie are you feeling better, or do you just have pain meds to make you act like you are ok?

Hahaha I'm feeling better. Gee, how could you tell? Cause I'm back to picking on poor Mona!?!

Yes!!!!  I am glad you are feeling better girlie.  I hate when you go downhill!

Lordy you and me both! Did you rest up today???

We did something fun this AM. heheeh.....we took the kitten on a car ride!! We figure she's so fearless at home, that we'd take a shot at making her a "social" kitty. LOL She did alright. Cried a whole lot, but she was interested in looking out the window. Eventually though, she burried her head in my arm pit like an ostrich!

I think she secretly liked it though!
