Jedi Mind Tricks: Week #5 | Arthritis Information

So I went to my Traditional Chinese Medicine appointment yesterday, for some more JMT. Even though I have done this for 4 weeks already, I was a little weirded out this week by the acupucture, but not so much that I didn't want to do it. She put in quite a few needles and the ones that are supposed to stimulate my liver kind of hurt a bit at first. (My poor liver, it does a lot of work for me. I try to give back with water and milk thistle and lemon/olive oil drink, but I guess it still gets tired). Anyway, I was really tired this week and instead of talking a lot or asking questions like I usually do I just sort of dozed off on the table. My TCMP was doing all sorts of Jedi Mind Trick things like holding the bridge of my nose for a while, and tapping my head and getting me to hold a cold glass of water on my stomach and stuff. At one point she was stroking my finger knuckle for a really long time and I finally asked what she was doing and she said she was telling my body to deal with my contact dermititis. JMT can't be all about suggestion because she says it works even if I'm asleep; I don't need to know why she's doing stuff to get results.

She said she likes it when her clients are tired, especially the smarter ones, because when your subconscious is tired, too, it offers less resistance and allows her to do more work. She said she got a lot more done than usual.

She said my pathogen response was down to 5% of its original intensity. She said once it was at zero she would start building up my other....um.....my other immune stuff and stuff (I was really tired!)

So my assignment this week is to avoid cold water and dampness for the next few days.

I eat a lot of garlic---and I mean A LOT----which she said is good for its antimicrobial properties, and she said I should consider starting to add honey to my smoothies and stuff, because honey is very antimicrobial. I had no idea! I read about it a bit when I got home and it's all true. I plan to start a new thread about that once I know more.

So is it working? Due to the mercurial nature of RA I can't really tell yet (plus I am already on 2 different therapies---I have to simplify!). My darling significant other says he thinks it is. Sometimes it takes an outsider to really objectively observe what is going on. He says he notices the AP is working as well.

I can go for a lot more visits before the insurance runs out, so I will keep going. My friend with Neuro-Bechet's went to this TCMP's friend (also a TCMP) and did JMT but she only needed 3 visits. The TCMP told her to take magnesium supplements and she said it helped he Bechet's BIG TIME.

Like I said last week, my TCMP said I was her only patient who was already on all the supplements my body needs. This week I asked if she could ask my body if I'm on any supplements I DON'T need. She held my wrist for a while and then said I could cut down the oil of oregano from once a day to once every 3 days.

There was no emotional work done this week (that I know of). I do feel great today, except of the tip of my pinkie finger, but that was because last night I accidentally smashed it big time. It's always something, right? It's never nothing.

More in two weeks---I have next week off from Jedi Mind Tricks, due to her work calendar being full top!
