Morning all! Woke up about 5:45 this morning w/ my back hurting like no ones business. Had a busy day yesterday so thats prolly why. Got a box packed up and put some bags of stuff in the truck and Kelsay and I went to my dads to visit w/ my family that is out from Ohio and my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew came down. Then we went to my dads gf's house for a bit then my uncle, cousin and I went to a craft store by the house and they got some christmas stuff since it was 50% off. There were so many things I wanted to buy but I didn't. We have SO many Christmas decorations its not even funny. Then when we got back my cousin, Kelsay and I put up the Christmas tree, did the lights, and got some ornaments up. I didnt get home till about 8:30 last night and I was EXHAUSTED!!!! Today is going to be just as busy. Kelsay and I are going grocery shopping, and have a few other arrands to run. THen when hubby gets home from work we are going to try and get as much Christmas shopping done as we can.

No wonder you back hurts Shannon! Wow, you really tackled a lot yesterday. Sounds like the Christmas spirit has hit you big time.
Be sure to schedule in some time for yourself, where you can relax and recoup. You're going to be busier than ever in the next few weeks, with the holidays and the move. So just be careful and don't overfill your days.
Kelsay must be getting so excited! Just don't let her eat the tree or anything!

Hi Everyone! just sat down a minute...finished cooking my part of Thanksgiving dinner. Shewwy my feet are so numb I can't feel them..I dread when the feeling comes back in.
We have a contastrophe! Clogged bathtub drain...I have to shower, hubby went downstairs and our basement, den and bathroom is flooded!
Oh and I have a new Pom puppy! Hubby bought him yesterday for an early Christmas present for me...well actually as a playmate for Izabella. He's cream colored, 4 months old, and adorable. I'll post pictures ( LMBO! don't say a word Karen) later tonight. Izzy is soooo jealous but they run and play constantly. I'm a glutten for punishment.
Well hubby got the drain unstopped...yippee... have to go shower...have a great day ya'll!
Karen, Yea hopefully Kelsay wont eat the tree or anything LOL...its an artifical tree...wonder if that would be bad for herOk, so I am still recovering from Wed. and Thurs. Woke up with a cold sore on my lip...hate them and haven't had one in years! So, I got the med. that we use for Brandon...he seems to produce them in mass in the winter.
My hand is still basically numb and there is no making a fist. So, I am off to get a brace. Last one was stolen out of my classroom. (lovely Children) I am completely exhausted, but today is decoration day!
Well, I was just informed my rootbeer exploded because of the cold weather, in my hubby's car. He just gave me that look...yep, hate "that" look!
Mo....geez. That's a lot of bad stuff to happen in one day. You can always go down to the gas staion and take a whore's bath
Shelly, cold sores are the worst. Haven't had one in a long time, but they take forever to clear up. Hope your medicine kicks it's viral butt. Fast.

Did I mention how much I love leftovers? Today I have had leftover apple pie, Death by Chocolate, clam dip, shrimp cocktail, and of course turkey and mashed taters! And I have hours of eating ahead of me! And the best part of all, if someone asks what I'm cooking for dinner, I can just flash them that "Are you seriously asking that?" look!

Trust me Karen, I'm thoroughly enjoying my extreme laziness! And just to play safe, I'm turning myself every two hours to prevent bed sores. I spent the day lounging around until noon, at which point I made beef tacos for lunch for the boys, started the laundry, and cleaned the downstairs bathroom.

I'm worn out today. Meh, go figure. I have to stay up all night, and sleep tomorrow (day) cause the next 2 nights are my overnight shifts. ONE MORE WEEK AND I'M DONE WITH THOSE!!! WOOHOOOO!!

Dinner was wonderful, Emma showed off and entertained us all day, we had a blast!

YES Katie! I was a DOOL fan for YEARS! I stopped watching it around the time that Bella was little one day, and they turned her into a teenager the following day.I don't think I want anymore puppy kisses...all they do is keep their nose up each others butt.

Gale this is the most simple pie I have ever made and everyone had a fit over it...it's as good as Shoney's if not better. I used Jello coconut cream pie filling, half and half, coconut extract, and toasted coconut...I put some in the filling and then I topped it with cool whip and thick toasted coconut....omg it is sooo good!
