Hey Pammy - when you attach clasps to your jewlery......what's your trick? That's the only part I'm having a really hard time with. It might have something to do with the fact that I'm using CHEAP string/elastic stuffs. It's stretchy, I got it cause we made some WITHOUT clasps.....maybe I need to get something different?

Ok, so I feel as if I have been to hell and back. Woke up Sat. with very sharp pain...intermittent in upper abdomen. Continued through the day, and then boom after dinner*which was spicy* I was in the worst pain in the world. Did not rotate or anything....just felt like my guts were huge. Rested yesterday...did the BRAT diet....and today I have some pain, but less. I am a little scared....my dad had uncontrollable Crohn's, and I am hoping this was just a fluke!
Numbness in my hands is better thanks to the brace, and swelling is down. I can't wait until Dec. 12th infusion day!!!

I just had a scare, my friends little girl who is 6 months old was sitting on the floor playing, her mum went out the front door to get something out the car which was right outside and the door slammed shut with baby still sitting in the lounge. She ran next door to use the phone as i have a spare key but I was at my Drs appointment and my phone was switched off, when i came out an hour later i had 20 missed calls. She had to phone the fire brigade to break in, the funny thing was, her little girl had toppled over on her belly and went to sleep. By the time i got there everything was fine though.
Well its 2 weeks today we leave for New York........My RA is playing up but I am having a cortisone injection just before I go. The Enbrel seems to be doing something right as I have had a good week, only today everything has decided to wrong and i am hurting really bad and have the beginings of a UTI.

Morning everyone! I started making my Christmas presents today. Im making my mom, my dads gf, and possibly my SIL and grandma either beaded bracelets or necklaces. I got a pattern online for a bracelet that im going to go today to the craft store to get the stuff for it and see how it turns out. Depending on how easy it is Im going to make them *mom, dads gf, sister in law and grandma* the same thing but different colors and also a necklace. The necklace im making is really easy, its just the bracelet im not sure about. Other then that not much is going on today. My mom and little brother are coming over after school to see the dog and Kelsay.
26 more days till we move!!!! Im soo excited yall have no idea. I talked to a good friend of mine last night and her, her husband and her step son might be coming to the house for New Years. I havent seen them since 2000...So im REALLY excited about them coming down. They just moved back to IL from FL last Jan. YAY LOL
Shelly~ Hope your tummy gets better. Maybe its from all the food from Thanksgiving. I'd take Katies advice and make a journal of what you are eating and see if its something imperticular that is bothering you.

It seems like it rained all night last night until around 9am this morning.
The rain this week has not effected me as bad, but I am guessing it is because of the high dose of pred. Oh sweet, wonderful prednisone! Life would be extra hell without it.

What I did ya'll might be wondering? Well... it was something "important" enough that I HAD to call my mom and tell her about it!
I ACTUALLY made 2 eggs over easy and DID NOT BURST the yolks!!
And BEST of all... I only used 2 eggs instead of the normal 4-6 eggs to get 2 good eggs.
My accomplishment of the day!

Lori~the pain doesn't rotate anywhere, but it sure makes me feel like I could throw up.
It has been a rough day....I thought the pain would be better today, but it is not...in fact it is probably equal to Saturday night. I hate this.
My sister called about an hour ago and mom is in the hospital with pneumonia. She has COPD, and I have given her strict instructions that she is not to pass away. She started to fight the doctors about staying in the hospital, but between the three of us girls...we got her talked into staying put. Hope and pray she is ok.
I am glad everyone is up and around. I'm getting a little jealous about the travel talk...I just want to do something fun...that i could do...which is nothing right now!

Shelly, I'm sorry you're going through a rough time right now. I hope the pain eases up on you and you feel much better tomorrow. Try to get a good nights sleep and not stress about your Mom. I'm glad ya'll were able to convince her to stay in the hospital. She'll be able to get all the meds and attention she needs to get well quickly.
Things are going pretty good here. Got some hip and ankle pain, but I took a vicodin. They're still bothering me, just not quite as bad. I went through the babies clothes today. He's growing so quickly! We're going to give the stuff he's too big for to a couple we know that is expecting. They're not going to have to buy clothes for quite a while. Shelly, you should probably get it checked out. Maybe you need an
endoscopy to see what is going on. There are so many reasons out there for
nausea, pain in the abdomen. Go get it checked out to rule out a serious
