Hi, I'm 18 years old and have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Raynaud's Disease. I was diagnosed about a year ago. I recently switched rheumatologists because I moved away to college and the new doctor's a bit of a jerk (I'm realizing just how lucky I was to have such a caring guy in the first place) and so I've been without my prescription medication for several days and have just now things arranged with him so that I can get more tomorrow, and, well let's face it I'm in a lot of pain and more than a little depressed right now. That's why I went looking for somewhere to vent and found this place. Hello! I think that many of us can sympathize with the difficulties involved in switching physicians, especially when leaving one who was caring.

Being without your necessary prescription drugs is not good! No wonder you are in pain and depressed.

Vent away!

Con brio, Happ
