Morning Everyone!

Hope everyone woke up in a better mood this ok day. Or at least on the right side of the bed

Off to bed again until son wakes up. We might make brownies before hubby gets home today. Yeah... I am just asking for trouble with that plan for my day. Just hope I do not cut or break anything.

Hope yall have a good day

Shannon? You need to add another "R" to your siggy line.

Come visit Sushi, another RA board. www.rasushi.org

LOL Thanks Joonie...hey i never claimed to know how to spell...actually its cause this stupid keyboard HATES me....thanks I just realized I haven't seen Grandmaskittles signing in on any of the posts, she's usually a voice of reason, is she okay or out of town? I may have missed something over Thanksgiving.

Shannon, when do you move into your dad's house? I was thinking how nice it would be to take all my decorations over to a new house, put them up and not have the house all messed up with this stuff. Haul the boxes down, unpack them, take the empties back up, oh heck leave the empties in the middle of the floor for a couple of days.

Hello all,

Hope you guys are feeling better today.  Shannon, I like that babysitting job - you can get paid for being a nosey neighbor!  Cool beans!

Deidre, all I have heard about GrammaSkittles is that she is having trouble with her cable internet provider.  I tried sending her an email and it came back undeliverable.  Katie has spoken with her by phone, however.  I think everything with her is about the same, her hubby is getting different shift/job that will better suit their needs, so that is good news.

Maybe Katie will stop by and tell us more.

Oh, I did want to let Lisa know that stage hands strike is over and Broadway reopens tonight!!  Just in time for your trip to NYC!

I hope you have a wonderful time!

We officially move in on the 22nd of December but we have been bringing stuff over every time we go over there.  THat way we dont have to get as big of a truck.  We are moving the same day my dad is moving his stuff out.  He is getting the truck (He works for Penske so he gets a good deal), we are going to use it first then he is going to put his stuff in after we get our stuff out.  I am SO excited yall have no idea.  My dad is leaving most of his furniture there since his gf's house is all furnished and its not very big.  I'll take pics of it once we get Christmas stuff up which will probably be sometime this weekend I am thinking.  When our oldest DD went to school at UConn, Fall 2006, she would call every weekend, "Mom, Guess where I'm at?" In my mind I was seething, JUST TELL ME!! On the phone, I was, "I don't know honey where are you?" I'm at the top of the Empire State Bldg, I'm in front of the Rockerfellar Christmas tree, I'm watching the fireworks over Boston Harbor.

I'm imagining Pincushion having such a great time in NYC and a detailed recap when she gets home. When we were driving to my mom's for Thanksgiving there was a story on the radio about how the English are flying to New York with empty suitcases and loading up on all these great buys, not just because of the exchange rate, but because the exact same thing here is so much cheaper, more than half off.Karen, yea i like this babysitting job as well....the dog has been going crazy all day cause today they are taking down one of the buildings and EVERY sound she heard for the first 2 hrs this morning shed bark at...she has settled down a bit but still is being obnoxious

I'm so out of whack today. I rearended a guy. Oh yes, that was fun. Paint damage and some cracks to my bumper, and a little dent to his. We didnt call the cops, just called my insurance company and left it at that. I still have no idea what it's going to cost me. By the end of us talking, the other guy didn't even want to bother with it. Hopefully that's how it'll end. *sigh* It was so not all my fault. He slammed his breaks way before the light, and so I tried to do the same......but mine locked up and I went sliding. ON DRY PAVEMENT!!!! >.<

I just wanna crawl back in bed!

Gotta do this:

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE!!! I have done 6 or 7 bracelets for my family, and so far they're all awesome!! I've become totally addicted. I think I'm going to work on some necklaces too. I'll have to take some pictures. I went online and looked at a few different styles, and I thought "I dunno if I can do that..." but once I sat down to it, it just makes so much sense! I think I may have found something that I'm GOOD AT (in the artsy department) Sorry about your accident Katie, at some point the dark cloud you two have been under has got to lift.

To all the parents on here, I just finished putting up the little tree on my desk where I hang all the ornaments my girls have made since preschool. It brings back so many memories, when I was unwrapping those wonderfully ugly ornaments and went on and on about how beautiful they were. Macaroni angels, nut wreaths, funky photo frames made out of colored paper and glitter. Take good care of all the ornaments your children make for you, it is always so much fun for me to put them up every year. Especially now that they're 21 and 17.

Oh man, speaking of christmas decorations.....

We just went to find the 4 trees, 5 wreaths, endless boxes of ornaments and lights here at the hotel.............THEY'RE ALL GONE! We have no idea what happend to them, they're not in the storage where we left them.......So this'll be FUN!
