How do you all do it? | Arthritis Information

I have been reading AI all morning.  I have not read AI in months until recently a few of my close friends encouraged me to come back.

Anyway, I am back and there are so many new names.  It is hard for me to remember people's history, health and concerns, families, and whether they are ........hmmmmmm............... let's say volatile and if you want to stay out of the fray ........ someone to avoid.

So I am not drinking LOL.  I do have fibro also so brain fog but I am wondering if I am the only one that has this problem.

It is frustrating as I do not want to offend people and I forget who my friends are and who to put it nicely - to avoid.

Anyone else feel this way ?  Maybe I should take notes

Curious about this too.  Most times I read the poster who started the threads post and throw in my 2 cents hoping I can add something that will be useful.  I hope that is not rude but I do not have the concentration (I swear to God) to read all the posts.  I get lost.  Good ole fibro brain fog.

I have a similar problem.  I can't for the life of me keep everyone's histories straight and I'm only now starting to make a mental note of a couple of people I'd rather avoid.  Even so, I think my lousy memory serves me well in one way...if I can't remember who never sends a supportive post or doesn't do this or that, I can't hold a grudge and will continue to be supportive to everyone who asks a question I can answer.  That works for me because I'd rather not be bitter and tit-for-tat.  Brain fog has its uses.

It used to be easier when we all had our own avatars (sort of like putting a name to a face) but now it is harder for some to put an original avatar up and so you see alot of standard ones. I dunno..that makes it harder for me. Also a few of the old members from years ago have somehow lost their original names and had to come back with new ones and that makes it more confusing.

Welcome back Roxy. I am sorry that there are mean people out in the world. Post all you want.

I have Fibro Fog and I also had some depression that was causing me to have lack of concentration and ability to focus. Not saying thats whats wrong but it happened to me. I went to a psychiatrist to get me straight. Thank goodness.

Again, welcome back!
