Hi guys, well yesterday I helped my two little boys put up the decorations and the Christmas tree, they were so excited, we played Christmas carols and ate snacks and drank coke, mm  mmmmmmmm
all in all it made for a lovely day, then to top it off we watched Elf before going to bed.  Can't wait t'il the Christmas holidays.  Merry Christmas guys and Happy 2008!!!!!  Love Janie.

Oh my! Janie started the chat!!

Sounds like you had fun! I'm thinking about trying to put lights on the poor lopsided tree....hmmmm I really don't want the baby chewing them and zapping herself though

I'm sitting here at work, my LAST OVERNIGHT SHIFT!! WOOOHOOO!!!! So happy! Justin's doing REALLY well. I mentioned that he joined the Crohn's forum and he's been loving it! It's been so nice for him to have a place to go to. It's change a lot of things for him, in a good way!

I can't wait to get home to my bed! Mmmmm I had to take a nap last night before work. I felt a migraine coming on. It would have been a bad one too. I'm lucky that if I catch them, and get into dark, quiet, and cold, I can knock them out. Shew.

Anyway, that's about it for me! TTYL!

Yay Katie!!!!  Last night shift.  I'm glad Justin has started communicating with other Crohns sufferers.  It is sure to help him as far as dealing with the constraints he has and accepting that there are others out there just like him.

We normally put our tree up the first weekend in December  but it's just been a HOT  (90 degree) weekend so no-one seemed to have the initiative to get the tree out and start working on it.  We'll do it one day this week though.  We drove past allthese houses with fantastic Christmas Light Shows on tonight as we came home from the inlaws.

Has anyone heard from Liz lately.  Has that baby made his appearance yet?

10 (maybe only 8 now..) more days till the baby. The doc went OUT OF TOWN the week she was scheduled for induction. HELLO!?!? What a fruit. Anyway, she's sooooo ready to pop! I need to call Lizzie here soon to check in on her. Last I talked to her she was having a crappy ass day. But the weather had been really bad too. The cold is kicking her hiney this year.

Hey Pammy - this is gonna be a stupid question (but consider the source...) Do you guys have santa all dressed up in his red suit with the fur??? Isn't it kinda hot for that?? Shouldn't he be in shorts or something? How does that work out?!?!?!?!? LOL

yeah  santa wears the whole shebang

then you see manniquins in the shop windows dressed in santa bikinis....

we have some ripper christmas carols though

It's almost midnight so I'm having a last chocolate fix before I go NPO for my op in the morning.

Pam~ Hope everything goes well w/ your surgery.  Have someone update us on how it went if your not up to posting yourself.

Well the dog is on our sh*t list today...She HATES hubby for some reason (I think it has something to do w/ the previous owner, before my mom) so when DH got home last night she told the dog to move and she peed on my blanket

Hope yall have a great day!

Oh man Shannon.....when I was 2 or so, my parents had their friends over, who also had a 2yr old. They sat in the dining room and played cards, and us kids played in my room. Mom says she KNEW she should have gotten up to check on us, but we kept coming out and asking for our sippy cups to be filled, so she figured we were fine. At the end of god knows how long playing cards, the ladies came into my room to see how we were doing..............

We were doing just fine, with my ENTIRE 64 ct box of crayons. My mom has pictures, I swear we colored on everything we could reach. Walls, crib, toys, table, changing table, EVEN OUR SIPPY CUPS THEY HAD BEEN FILLING FOR US!!! Our boys decorated the hardwood floors with Sharpie markers when they were 2 and 3.  Ever since then, they have been absolutely forbidden to even LOOK at a Sharpie marker.  I didn't realize how ingrained this was until the oldest one got upset at one of his first Cub Scout meetings.  You guessed it... they were supposed to use Sharpie markers to mark something.  He refused, saying he wasn't allowed to.

Jasmine - OMG

We both got all dressed up last night and went to our Third Annual High End Holiday Party of the year.  I must be feeling better.

I want a courtyard home.

I have a picture like that only DD did it to herself when she was 6 months old. Her sister got a bunch of water soluble markers for her birthday. Somehow she got one with the cap off and jabbed it all over her face, even sucked on it, talk about stopping your heart. Made a funny picture and thank goodness it was safe for children.Well thanks to the magic of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser it all came off the wall...thankfully lol  Oh and my landlord called and said we will be getting all of our deposit back

I am going to go lay down... hopefully fall asleep and feel a little better.

TTYL

I have done some christmas shopping and NO decorating. I made a post earlier today about going to be the Buh-Hum-Bug this year. And be cheap
