I have spent a little bit of time this morning reading horror story after horror story, which makes my horror story more real, and am beyond disbelief, rational thought, or any logical frame of mind.

The medical profession, the pharmaceutical companies, and the health (ha ha) "system" is not in place to handle "patients" is my only conclusion.  There seems to be no protocols, no guidelines, no uniform procedures, nothing, for patients such as us with autoimmune/RA/JRA, etc.  Just hit and miss, shoot from the hip, cowboy medical professionals, playing around at being a doctor.

And if you question it, they label you "crazy".  This sounds more like Stalin-run medical care, rather than healing, helpful care.  A racket, a mafia, a scam, ridiculous.

Cathy. I see it all th time. They run test after test and then conclude it is all
in the patients head. Weird thing from my experience. Women seem to be
more "crazy" than men. Especially women in their 30's and 40's. I guess
they don't feel that people in that age group can really get sick. Doctors
want numbers, values, that sort of thing. If those numbers don't show up, it
must be in our heads. Get used to it. MSNBC has an article out this morning
that states most doctors don't report their bad doctors. So some of these
doctors stay in practice and just keep being sloppy and bad. Gotta go back
to the sweat shop for 8 hours so I'll pop in tonight. Hugggs all. It's not just women in their 30s and 40s though-- when I first went to my GP I was 16.  As soon as he heard that I was having joint pain he gave my mom "the look" and asked to speak with her alone.  She was like "anything you're gonna tell me you can say in front of her" and he basically said that I was trying to get attention.  We found a different doctor the next week and I was dxed with RA.  Go figure.

You know, I'm so in agreement I cannot even fathom a reply.

They can't help us, it mixes with their 'playing-God' tendencies and WE'RE crazy?

Pip

Same here Pip!  All of my problems was due to depression, lol.

I can't express myself as well as the posts above, so all I'll say is

                               YOU ARE SO RIGHT!
