They asked everyone in my daughter's class if they celebrated Christmas or Hannukah. She proudly told me she said we celebrate Hannukah. Oops!!! I asked her why she thought we had a Christmas tree, if we didn't celebrate Christmas! Never mind the church preschool she attended!
Time to quit backsliding on Sunday mornings, I guess. She's ready to convert.

Actually, I saw these gorgeous Menorah's at the Skirball and really wanted to get one myself - but thought it might be sacrelegious. Not for me - I think everything goes to the same place - but for Jews.
I have a friend that's not Catholic that wanted to do the "St. Joseph statue" thing to get her house sold so she read up about it and did it in the most respectful way possible. That's what I'm thinking of...use the correct prayers etc. But would it offend others? Know what I mean?
