Morning! My right knee is soooo much better this morning. Took my first dose of minocin last night around midnight and woke up with a lot less swelled, hardly no pain and twitching leg!! YAY!!
So the day should go a little better, now that I can walk almost "abnormal" once again.
Hope everyone's day starts out on the right side of the bed!
I was going to take pics of my knee last night for ya'll to see. and then I did not feel up to it. But now I wished I had of so ya'll could see how it has gone down in less than 8 hours. It is pretty neat-O!
I hope the Minocin works Joonie. Something needs to.
I have just come out of a 48 hour bug and it was awful. I had a temp of 40.4 and couldnt stop vomiting and had a bad tummy. I feel slightly better now but cant get out of bed as i feel woozy. We fly out in 4 days so i got to get better. Just hope hubby doesnt get it.
Shannon~It does not surprise me in the least that your body has decreed ENOUGH! I am sorry you fell, that is so hard on these achy bodies.
Joonie~I guess I need to do the happy dance, well maybe later! I am soooo happy for you.
Pin~I am so sorry about your bug, and I hope hubby doesn't get it, cause they are just whiney babies! I can't wait to hear all of the New York stories.
Me, well hubby and I had our first counselling experience. Yep, went that well...not. I feel like absolut sh** through and through. I do have an interview today, and it is working with the dept. of ed. I am excited and hope I get it. It is flexible part time hours!! and pays well. If I could cross my fingers now would be the time.

Shannon, Another fall in our little group? Boy, we sure aren't the most coordinated group, are we? Be careful! I live in Calif. but I remember how trecherous (sp?) the ice can be. We sure don't want you laid up for Christmas.
Lisa, I'm glad you are starting to feel better. I sure hope your husband doesn't get it! He just can't, that's all! You are going to have a terrific trip. I know how you are looking forward to it.
Hope everyone has a good day. I've got so much to do before the holidays! I'm still in a cast on one hand, but it comes off Monday! Yea! We're all decorated, but I still have to do cards and wrap gifts.
My Sweetie will do most of the baking, since I can't stand that long. But my 17 year old granddaughter is going to come over and help decorate cookies. She's a lot of fun. When she was little, we made a gingerbread house every Christmas. The older she got, the more intricate the houses got. By the last year, we had a frozen pond in front of the g-bread house, with a snowman skating on it. And powdered sugar snow on everything. I miss doing those with her.

Thanks, Everyone! I hope it continues to make my knee do better. My knee had been starting to act up within the last 2 weeks but the day after my RD appt it decided to swell and go back to like it was in October and then I needed the pain meds again.
No need for pain meds today. Pain is quite bareable and that is a good thing for me!
Pinnie- I was just thinking about ya and was going to ask if you had not been around because I missed your "Neener neener neener I am going to NYC and you are not" post.
Shelly - Sorry about you and hubby's councling not going so well. Maybe next time it will go a little better. Hugs!
joonie- neener neener neener i am off to New YorkWell... I hope the flight goes well. How long of a flight is it?
My hubby likes to fly now. Before oct '06 he was not sure about flying, but now he said if he had the money he would fly to california again in a heart beat. Looks like in 5 more years he will get to fly out to california to go to DisneyLand again. My brother invited us to come to california when our son got old enough to enjoy it, so that will be 5 years from now, when he is 8.
Our flight is 7 hours 25 mins. We leave London at 3.10pm and arrive at JFK at about 5.40pm ( taking the 5 hour time difference into it) It will really be 10pm to us but as its going to be exciting and new i definetly wont want to sleep. I hope your son gets the chance to fly, My kids all love it. My son flew to South Africa from uk when he was 10 to stay with my SIL , He went on his own with a flight attendant. I worried the whole time he was on the plane but to him it was a huge adventureOur flight was 6 hours, but we had a layover in Nevada for about 30 mins.
I am sure you will get some sleep after you get there.
Oh, we are definitely staying with the counselling. It will be the only way we make it through.

Well, I am in pain. I swept the whole house(minus bathroom) before going to my interview. Which I am not sure I will be taking the position. It is a lot of presenting to principals, and a lot of leg work literally. I will have to present to schools and have them want me there to help support the parents in the school. I am just not sure if I am up for the stress.
Sorry Shelly. I hope you get the new job.
Ok here is a good laugh for ya'll...
My son was in the livingroom and I was in the diningroom on the computer. He looks at me and says "MOM! We got a mouse! Come here!" I go to get up and he starts walking towards where he says the mouse is. I tell him to stop walking towards it. He kept walking towards where he said the mouse was. I get into the livingroom and he is standing at the window looking out and says "There goes the BIG MOUSE UP MY TREE!"
Turns out it was a silly squrriel and son thought it was a mouse
Yeah I called hubby laughing about it and he thought it was freaking hilarious. Then my mom dropped by to give me some pizza and told her about it and she thought it was hilarious.

Just checking in to say hi to everyone! I've been away for a while (again)...still struggling with the same pain issues and just haven't felt up to sitting at the computer.
I've got a lot of reading and catching up to do, but I sure hope everyone's doing well and feeling good!
