Feeling better - thank God | Arthritis Information

HI guys, I just wanted to thank those of you who got me thru last night, I really had had enough and felt I was in despair!

Anyway, I did the heatpack thing and that helped heaps, I put a pillon under my knees on my side so my hip wasn't straining, and I had a good nights sleep eventually.  I have been resting today as I can still feel it but it is so much better that I have been able to get yup and down for a while without too much trouble.  I also went in the pool to cool down and have a relaxing dip.

Unfortunately last night after I took the antiinflammatory, I spent most of the evening in the toilet, with just one tablet, I can't believe how they have started to affect me, the payoff just isn't worth the benefit.  But if I didn't use one last night I reckon I would have ended up in hospital.

Thanks again guys, my ESr went from 5 to 40 after the first infusion, my rheumy was disappointed and at this stage they are not allowing me to have it again due to allergic reaction.  So I have pushed my MTX up to 12.5mg from 10mg.  Thanks again everyone.  Hugs Janie.
Glad you're feeling better, Janie. Well done. RA can make you feel sick like nothing else and the pain is just special too.

You sound much better.

I am sorry that you had such a bad night Janie.  But I am glad you are feeling better.  I agree with Cordelia, the pain is just so unique and add the fatigue and what I call the "pain monster syndrome" it just really knocks you for a loop.

I am so sorry to hear of all the recent problems.  I hope today is better for you.
