Hi - I just started taking Enbrel 4 weeks ago and I was due to have my period around the 2nd shot.  Nothing!!! Yes the new shots sting - bad, so bad that I went back to 2 shots.

Thanks so much for letting me know Kristin - I have called the Enbrel line and they hadn't heard of this before, so I was getting a little wigged out.  But when I finally reached my Rheumy's office the receptionist said they had one other patient report the same issue.  So I'll wait until the dr calls back...but it is nice to know someone else had it happen too!  I'm considering switching to the 2 shot as well since I see you're going back to it along with others. Hope you have a good day You are welcome! The nice thing about the 25mg shots is the needle is a precision glide and  you can barely feel it go in. And you don't have to wait for it to warm up!

Have a great weekend,
Kristin
I guess I'll disagree with everyone on the 50mg.  It's no worse than a pencillin shot in your rear.  To me, a shot is a shot, the less the better.  I can handle a 10 second pain.  Better than an RA pain.
