When you have RA does it make it easier to get colds, flu etc.

Yes it does because your immune system is weakened.  I also find it takes me longer to get over a cold once I get one.  Just another perk of RA I guess.

Do not know. hardly ever get sick, I mean like flu, stomach virus, colds, ect.

Everyone else around me will be sick and it will get passed around and I will never end up with it.

It just leaves to have to tend to the sick ones

Apparently we are more succeptible (spelling?) to viruses, colds and such...great

Hi Sheila,

It does, especially with the mtx, remicade, etc.  I've had a cold/sinus infection for about a month so my RD is having me take some strong antibiotics and get a sinus mri before taking remicade again.

But, yes, even before taking any medication I used to get colds very easy and was easy for me to get run down and 'fluey'.  I hope you are feeling better SOON!!!

We only have one Krispy Kreme, and it's on Maui.  Not here in Honolulu.  Go figure!
