Well, as I've posted in the past, I gave up all dairy products and sugar. I felt fantastic and dr. said I was in remission - yay. Anyway, with the THanksgiving - Christmas eating being ever-present, I've slowly slipped back to my old ways and had sugar, milk, ice cream etc and I feel sooo awful. My knees are really bad, ankles, even deep bone pain in my shins. Anyway, I am trying (starting today) to go back to my no dairy no sugar diet and I will keep you posted as to the results. I've a sinking feeling that it's the cold weather doing this to me. Even the change of seasons from spring to summer threw me for a loop. Anyway, I'll keep you posted and owuld be iinterested in anyone else's diets as far as dairy are concerned. Thanks

what do you eat if you cant have dairy or sugar?

I drink soy milk - takes a little getting used to! And I use Stevia (an herbal sweetner) on my cereal. Other than that, I've never used sugar in my coffee and I don't like to eat sweets (I make 'em for the kids!). I like the chocolate silk. It is very good. I use stevia now and then. Honey,
have you tried a sugar called organic zero? You can buy it at wholefoods
and places like that. It is very good. Very pricey but tastes like real sugar. YOu know, I have been wanting to try this.  I did a fast a while ago four days.  On the fourth day I fealt wonderful!  But I introduced food to quickly.  I want to try this again. What a good butter substitute?

Matt, earth's balance or soy garden are good butter subs.

We drink Organic Valley Lactose Free Milk. Tastes like the real thing! It's fat free, but tastes like freaking whole milk. It's to die for!!!!!! We don't really use butter on much, so the little that we do has never bothered me. I still haven't found a good cheese substitute. I've tried a bunch of soy cheeses - BLECH!

As far as sugar......I'm no help there. *SUGAR ADDICT*
