Not that life with RA isn't confusing enough. Anyway i had asked doc can i take my allergy nasal spray while on pred he said sure. Well i did and i sneezed all day. Sneezed some the day before when i took it but not as bad. So logic tells me i must have a cold. Anyway my sinus's where awful yesterday. And it is raining buckets. Flash flooding for days so glad it is not snow. Pain I was in such pain yesterday. Then i had a rash on my thighs. Put some cortisone cream on them. Did not work. Started to swell thighs turned red. My hearing excelerated. The rain was to loud, the furnace to loud, walked across the house to the kitchen a little niose the refrigerator was making was driving me nuts, I normally never notice this. I mean my sinuses where bad and my ear was throbbing, wouldn't that make your hearing worse not better, not super hearing. My ankles where throbbing symetrically. My shoulder felt dislocated. Well my vicoden and Omacor help with joint pain and make me sleepy. So i took them and the rash went away. Well thats good but surprising I just wanted some sleep. Got my sleep. And i am only in minor pain and another pain pill will kick this. I skipped the nasal spray today and have a bit of stuffy nose that is all. Would a cold cause all of this confusion?I have no idea if a cold could cause ALL that, but I'm glad you're feeling better today, Milly.

Another allergy?

Keep feeling better, Milly!

Pip

Well Pip in theory I would say an irratation. I have a noticable polp at the bottom of my nose. Infection alone could give me a rash. Cipro is an iffy med for me to begin with. This is not a new nasal spray for me. I have to be careful. I can mess up and take a benadryl and become allergic to everything i took that day for the rest of my life. I am so complicated. I am taking 500 mg of vitamin c a natural antihystamine. When i start my RA meds it will be the only thing i take at first as not to blow anything else. Have you ever seen the warning on pred or allergy meds that they can cause allergic reactions to medications? I often get this side effect. It is a mixture with me and knowledge can be a good thing. I have not had an allergic reaction to meds for seven or eight years. Have been very careful to aviod them. Scars me a bit to think of trying new meds. Well scars me alot so i try not to think about it. But the sinus and rash i do not think were related. I really think i have a cold. I am stuffy but not even a hint of rash today. Anyway I had the RA or AI skin inflamation when i woke up yesterday. I know as i had it before i took any of the meds i am taking. I believe is trying to swell and have a cold. My heavty dose of omega in my Omacor along with the pred and vitamin c helps my skin alot and keeps the swelling where i can handle it. Unfortunatly it makes me tired, the Omacor and i quit taking it when i have to get out bed and do things like pay my bills and go to the doctors or take my cipro. i think i could handle it if i can get off the Cipro. Tomorrow the dentist again. And it will be all up hill from there. That is a little strange Milly...I would call my doc and let him know what happened. Just in case...Hope you get to feeling better real soon!
