I would like to complain about the weather where I am at. High today 80 & Lo 52. Then it is suppose to drop down to a high of 67 Thursday, 58 Friday and then the lowest of the highs 56 Sunday!

I am not even going to go into the lows for the week... let's just say Too bad snow does not make it around here but once every so often.

No wonder I cannot keep from hurting!

Sure, everyone complains about the weather, but no one does anything about it!

I think it's time we all wrote a letter to the Weather Dept.

Is the Weather Dept in the North Pole?

Maybe that is what my hubby's dream woman is part of... the weather dept.... I mean the weather is the enemy! I do not see santa & his elves as the enemy. Do you?

Hope you get feeling better haven't talked to you in a while but i read about your good news that was great Horray for you.

Oh and did I mention it is to RAIN Thrudays day too and every other day after that?

UGH! Screwy weather!

Hey joonie, you can start complaining when your highs are only a high of 29 with a low of 26 (today) and tomorrow it is soposed to be a hight of 32 w/ a low of 21  But hey its gonna be a high of 24 w/ a low of 8....

Is it summer yet?

Don't you need the rain, I tell ya Joonie nothing makes you happy.

It is snowing like crazy today, we may have a white Christmas after all, I was getting so sick of the bare ground, so I hope it doesn't warm up again and melt away. Brown for the holidays is not a good thing in Alaska.I could do without the ice storm we're due to get late tonight/tomorrow morning.  The storm has already killed a dozen people as it sweeps across the Great Plains.  Hopefully school will be canceled tomorrow and my family and I can all stay home! Jasmine did you get my pm about the alder cones? The highway dept is coming through whacking everything down. [QUOTE=Ninilchicken]Jasmine did you get my pm about the alder cones? OMG yep I got it and then forgot about it when I got PO'ed and ignored the forum for a few days.

Oh and not to mention the tornado watches and warnings that this screwy weather causes.

Yeah, and my sis from Louisiana is complaining she was cold when it was 60 degrees. The nerve!! She rode out Hurricane Katrina and lost everything she had but her truck and some clothes. She stayed up here last year and freaked when she would see one little snow flake. She was so funny! I bought her warm boots and mittens last year for Christmas so she could build a snowman, which she did. LOL She's back home again and calls or texts me to rub it in!

1/4 inch already?  I'm glad I went to the grocery store this evening!!! Yikes!  I wonder if we'll get frozen in tomorrow!  I got 2 big bags of salt - since we share a driveway with the neighbors, I usually salt and the teen boys next door help me with a good part of the shoveling.  My husband can't shovel due to his cardiac condition, but paybacks are a bitch!!! I like snow. We wish for it to snow here every year, but if it does snow it is usually around Feb/March. [QUOTE=joonie]I like snow. I'll send you some.

We had a blazzard one year in 1992. Yeah.... everyone freaked and we kids thought it was the coolest thing because no school for a whole week.

Never have we had a blizzard since. Stinking weather... never brings us a blizzard. [QUOTE=joonie]
