i'm on prednisone, meloxicam and my antibiotic and on top of my infection, i now have a cold "sigh".
Any helpful tips on how to keep me from getting so sick i end up in the ER? :)
Get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids. Especially clear liquids.

first idea for the common cold, don't get one. If you do I like the natural approach. Chicken soup, hot wings, salsa, vitamin C. I am in your boat and i am miserable. It seems to be making me flare or i am just flaring and having a cold. Anyway the natural approach has gotten me know where. I am on antibiotics also. But oh my. I lost all my miosture again and i mean everywhere throat sinuses eyes mouth eshophogus as well as swelling in joints bad and back and spastic colon. Had to up my pred. Well i just took my Omacor and a vicoden it made me have an ear pressure pop in the right direction, as a release in air pressure. I am thinking what Joonies grandpa suggested for RA golden raisins soaked in gin LOL well maybe i am serious. I have a jug of water on the night stand and had to increase my pred or i will no doubt get something bad in the lungs i fear from lack of moisture. Dentist did an exray said no abcess on exray more of an injury he blammed the dental assistant, said stay on antibiotics and be patient as the tooth he pulled is in front of the tooth he fixed. Said this makes your tooth move and hurt. He said give it a few more weeks and see but call if it gets worse. I thought it was worse and that is why i was there. Well this white line on my gums above the teeth i thought it got a bit longer it is hard like a bone and very tender, I did wonder if it was an injury? But stay on antibiotics. Just venting. I am taking zicam, i usually get rid of the cold in the first couple of days but i thought my nose running was the side effect of my antibiotic so i didn't take it. (it always causes my nose to run) but today i know for sure i am sick as a dog.
On another note, what the heck does sick as a dog mean? My mom always said that and i have no clue what it stands for lol.
Oh I do not know. I am sicker than a dog today. If i was a dog they would put me down or think i had rabies. LOLBad enough being sick, then you get layers of I have this and that and this and that.
Makes you wanna stay in bed :)
Oh I worked yesterday all day and went to the dentist and the bank payed a couple of bills. I slept till noon and worked a half a day today. I got a truck driver to pick up all of my orders except one. I have all week to get that covered should be a sinch. Anyway now i can stay in bed the rest of the week pretty much if i want. The pressure is off.
