Arthritis Information -Facing surgery

 

Anyone out there have the surgery?  How was recovery?  I am scheduled to go in a month.  Can I take care of myself during the day?  Any help/support would be great. 

                

 

Sorry...brain fog here: I am sure it is apparent to everyone but me, but WHAT surgery are you scheduled for?

I suspect that as with many surgeries, our ability to take care care of ourselves is based on a great many factors beside the surgery itself. Have you spoken with your PCP and your surgeon about recovery and home care.

Not much help was I...however as I so frequently visit the Land of Confusion I can draw you a map of the way in AND the way out! Sorry - I guess I am getting foggy about this issue as well.  I have Spinal Stenosis in 3 stations.  I can never remember the name of the surgery.  I am so looking forward to being out of pain so I can walk that I guess I am hoping the recovery will be a piece of cake or at least easier than what I am going through right now.  Yes I have spoken with my PCP and surgeon and they are cautious about saying "sure you can take care of yourself" during the day.  But I have no choice on this.
