How I Feel Today | Arthritis Information

Well, sorry I never got back to ya'll last night. I did not wake up until 4am. I went and woke hubby up off the couch and then got him to give me some of my meds.

Then I was up the rest of the morning feeling like I needed to vomit. Yeah... I guess I should not have took the Amoxicillin on an empty stomach. When I woke up I was not sure what time it was... I thought it was around midnight, but then after I came back from the bathroom I realized it was 4am.

So... I took a shower around 5:30am to make myself feel better, but ended up vomiting all my meds up. EWWW!!! That was the most sour nasty taste in the world!

Then I ate some yogurt around 6:45am and felt sick again and then went and took another shower and well... no need in saying it... I felt much better, headache went away and my stomach was not so upset.

Then got back up at 8:30am to go to RD's office for my hip x-rays. Oh the pain!

So far so good on the Remicaid. Just been hot today. When I woke up at 4am and took my prednisone, I was surprised I was able to make a pretty decent fist with my right hand and not having the pred in me for over 12 hours. Usually... if I woke up at 4am without pred in me, I cannot even get outta bed, let alone make a pretty decent fist with my right hand.

My sister told my mom I looked like I was walking much better yesterday. She saw me before I went in for Remicade and then she saw me while we were in Wal-Mar (the T is still out). So... I guess it is working. I am still tired from not getting much sleep this whole week, but I do feel better and joints move more easily.

The 2nd infusion should do me even better.

I feel like cleaning the house, but my right hip is not doing so well. I am afraid to aggravate it and cause myself much unneeded pain. Everytime I sneeze it hurts my hip. I am so over sneezing!

I guess I have sat up too much today, as my shoulder blades are burning again... darn fibro. O.K. I am trying to learn all of this stuff. Thanks for educating me. Take it easy girl!! That's so good, Joonie. I am so happy for you.

Don't forget your food before meds, woman. We don't want you sick again like that. You have enough on your plate.

I am so excited that the Remicade is already helping.

Joonie, I am so excited that there is some relief.  I want more for you though and hope it happens with the next one!  I hope they find out what is going on with xrays, but I see an MRI in your future!

I am already suppose to get an MRI of my hands, next year some time. So... maybe she will do my hip, too.

Hope you are feeling better today, Shelly.
