Just wandering if anyone else has experienced any major muscle strains or pulls? My calf muscle has been so sore the last 3 days. It really hurts, feels like I have pulled a muscle really bad, but I have not done anything to warrant this kind of muscle pull. Is this fairly common? I take Tyleonl 3 for pain and that dont phase it neither does my muscle relaxers I take Baclofen. I really thought the muscle relaxers would kick something like this. Does anyone have any ideas????

Sudden calf pain could be indicative of a blood clot...you really should call your doctor and get a medical opinionYes please check this out. I did once get a bakers cyst in the back of the knee. It hurt like that but please check for blood clots. Anyway i felt a lump behind my knee about a week after the pain and thought i had cancer. Turned out i had a torn ligement and did need surgery. The sort of cyst i had was common with this sort of tear. But yes this could be a sign of a blood clot. Especially if it is red or hot. See a doctor right away it could be very serious.Also may want to have them check your potassium levels after they rule out blood clot. Let us know how this turns out.I'd agree. Chances are it has nothing to do with RA at all.
I use to get horrible cramps at night in my calfs but it was the type of things you remembered for sure. It would be really sore for a couple days afterwards.
Could be several different things. Best to have it checked out.
