Hi all. You know, the more I think of it the more angry I get that my rheumy has just dismissed all my symptoms. I have a positive RF (ok maybe weak but still positive) have have - to my knowledge - all the symptoms except swelling, head and redness - which I got in my knuckle just the other day - he's said twice he doesn't think I have it. I mean, is the guy like some quack or something - is he allowed to just do this? Still waiting on the CCP test but I had to organise that myself - think he's dismissing me coz of the low white cell count, thinks its viral - but that don't explain why I had it in my wrists when I was pregs. Asked him this and he said hmmm. I told him I have been chatting with you guys and he said - I take on board what you are saying about the lack of swelling and the normal blood tests but I have been a Rheumy for 15 years and I see 3,700 patients a year, a lot with RA and you just develop a gut feeling about these things! Well in that case I'd have been as well going to a fortune teller! Sorry I just had to get that off my chest coz the guy - as nice as he is - is making me mad. The first time he told me it wasn't RA I went to see my mum and dad with the hubby and they were all celebrating - I was just kind of sitting there going I don't believe him one little bit. Just as well I'm a cynic, imagine I'd just walked away and left it at that. The worst thing is, if it does turn out to be RA, there's nothing I can do about him - I'm just so angry right now. Sounds like my Rheumy - you are not in Wales by any chance are you as my Rheumy sounds like the same prat that you are seeing!

I'm In Glasgow Scotland. Maybe they're related I tell you what though, he'll not be seeing 3,700 patients a year by the time I'm finished with him if he's got it wrong!
