Gluten Free Cashew Sauce Recipe | Arthritis Information

My gluten-free friend made this sauce for her gluten free pancakes and it was INCREDIBLE. It would be good on desserts or fruit or all kinds of things. So I wanted to share it for those who are gluten free.

1 cup raw cashews
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tbsp Mirin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water, more or less

In a blender grind nuts into a fine meal, being careful not to make cashew butter. Add other ingredients except for water. With the blender running, add water until a thick 'n' creamy sauce forms. Refrigerate. (Sauce will thicken slightly in refrigerater).

Makes about 1 cup.

Sooooooo good!
Gimpy-a-gogo39436.5104861111Thanks gimpy. My son in law has celiac disease and really watches his diet
closely. I want to make him a pumpkin pie for xmas dinner as that is his
fav. Do you have any good pie crust recipes? Any other gluten free recipes
would be greatly appreciated as I would like to have a variety of foods
available for when he is here. Thanks Gimpy - that sounds yummy and will try it soon.
