My name is Mike Wellman. I am form Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.In July of this year I was diagnosed with adult onset stills disease. I am 35 years old and never realized hell like i di this summer. I had all the symptoms, the enlarged liver, the high fevers,loss of appetite, my iron levels were like1000 times above normal. I was in the hospital for like a month, had every test possible done to me. It took another 2 months at home beofre I could even lift my 2 year old son again. Today I feel pretty good and am not on any medications. Can others pleaes share some of their experiences with me.
Hi Mike, Although I don't have stills disease, I feel your pain. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have been hurting for over two years. From my toes to my nose. I live in central Illinois, U.S.A. and it's been cold and rainy and that doesn't help me much either.
I hope the new year 2008 will be a much happier, and healthier for you.
