Has anyone got any tips for dealing with acne? My daughter has it really bad right now.
Anna
Anna, I bought a my son Asda's own face scrub and a tea tree oil stick ( with a rollerball top) it has done wonders for his skin. My sister took her daughter to the doctors for her acne and she is on medication that has cleared it up.

Hi Anna

My son did the trick by using a gentle non scented foaming wash (Simple is a good brand) followed by splashing with loads of cold, cold water. It took a few weeks but definitely worked - and it sure woke him up in the morning

Many thanks for your information.
Will try the scrub and tea tree stick.   The problem area is her forehead and also around the hair line, with some spots actually in the hair.

Anna- try a medicated shampoo too and get her to tie her hair back when she is just sitting around indoors. Lots of fresh air as well

Anna, my friend is a nurse who has suffered from bad, nasty acne all her life. She takes low dose antibiotics when its is really, really bad so maybe a trip to the doctors might be helpful if all the other things dont work. Hope she can cope with this, its very difficult being a spotty teenager, especially when you want to look you're best 24/7.
