SnowOwl - we all get to the same post at some point after coming on board here.  Hang in there, and try to help out the next newcomer coming in behind you.  Makes you grateful.  Happy Holidays to you and your family.  Take care ~~ Cathy

SnowOwl,

Hang in there!   Hope you feel a little better soon;  is your rheumy/doc helpful in listening to you and tring to find the right combination of meds plus something to lower the pain levels?  After quite a few years of RA I finally, gradually, discarded a lot of my old heavy kitchen canisters, casserole dishes, saucepans and so on - if not comfortable to lift, open or use, they are out!!  Friends and rellies were surprised to get requests for commonplace things as gifts for me, but far more useful to gimps than fancy stuff rarely used.  Even handbags have to be easy to access for achey sore hands.  Be kind to yourself and try not to do too much all in one day.  Most of us have had to learn that we can't do the Wonder Woman act any more, adn to accept help graciously - a little hard when we like to be independant . . . I am still learning . . .

Lorraine
