Here is something I thought was interesting for anybody looking ahead to a New Year's Resolution.  I found this in Good Housekeeping Jan. 2008 issue.  In a study at Duke, smokers identified foods that made cigarettes taste terrible:

Fruit, vegetables, dairy, non-caffeinated beverages, esp. juice and water.

These made them taste better:  alcohol, coffee, tea, cola, meat.

They also said "a small bout of exercise, even as little as five minutes" can help you get past the urge to smoke.

Sounded like some good tips which would probably help with a host of other typical New Year's Resolutions!

(I am very distractable today.  I have a lot to do, none of which I want to do.  Found this article while I was trying to throw out clutter, a project I started because I was sick of wrapping, which I went back to after being sick of laundry, which I started doing because I didn't want to clean, but if I don't do those things, I will be forced to wrap up some year end paperwork for my job, which requires going online, which is why I keep coming back here....)
