Merry Christmas to everyone! I don't know about anyone else...but geesh! What a last couple of weeks. I am worn out!

Me,too Jode! This Christmas came so fast and the weeks of Dec. just flew by! I guess because I move so slow and can't shop much by myself, it just seems there is not enough time.

But my Sweetie baked for 4 days. He made all the cookies that I have always done for Christmas and 2 pecan pies, with homemade crust that was perfect! He made the ham, potato salad and fixed a veggie platter. My 17-year-old vegan granddaughter made vegan lasagne for our buffet and it was delicious!

But we are both so tired that I feel like we could sleep for 3 days!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were with family and friends (if you wanted to be

Jeanne, I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures!

Meme, Merry Christmas! I hope you had a joyful day, and that you will have a New Year, full of peace and comfort!

OH  Wow Jeanne!!! That sure is a lot of hail.

OH MYYYYYY! Look at that hail! You certainly did get hit and hit hard! WE have had hail storms causing much damage, last year I think it was, but we never got that much! You did have a "white Christmas"!

That's a lot of hail, but it sure must be nice to have those beautiful flowers now.  Everything thing here is pretty much brown or grey.hehe - yep - the lawns are all pretty brown and burnt up under all that hail!!  Doesn't look so pretty today though, so I have a bit of tidying up to do out there - things are a tad battered!!  sigh - there's always a price to pay.

Wow, Jeanne, you sure did have a lot of hail! Your slide-show came out great. It looks so pretty with the beautiful flowers and the ground so white. Very unusual!Your neighborhood looks so nice.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Hugs, Nini

Thanks Nini, it did look pretty, my friend who only lives about 6 miles from me didn't get it, I sent her one of the photos, an she wrote back and said, wow - that looks a bit like your garden!!!  Where is it???

I assured her that it was indeed mine, and then I sent her the slide show just to prove it.  It really was a most unusual occurance, and seemingly confined to three areas of the country, here where I am, and then about 40 miles away, and then about another 200 or so miles on the opposite coast.

And I did have a wonderful Christmas.  As I said in another posting, I had my whole family gather at my house for breakfast -son and his wife and my 2 wee grandsons, my daughter from Aust. & my 16 yr old grandaughter- (and she brought a special man with her too OooooH)!!! And my ex-hubby comes too!  First time we've all been together since the youngest grandson was born.  Great!!

Would you believe this - we all had our cameras charged up and ready, and my DIL who is a professional photographer had her gear as well - NO-ONE REMEMBERED TO TAKE ANY PHOTOS!!!   duh!!!  HOW GOOD IS THAT!!!

Never mind, I'm lucky I think, I get them all when they're fresh and happy and raring to go at about 9am, and then by about 11-30ish, it was all over and they were all taking off to their various inlaws etc..  The I can just sit and relax for the rest of the day - lovely.  I will have another Christmas when I visit my brothers and their families in another part of the country late January-February, but I don't have to get that one organised.

Anyway, thanks,  I had a wonderful day and it was lots of fun!!!
