Infections after Humira | Arthritis Information

Hi all,
My husband was suffering with AS from the last 6 years and got diagnosed a year ago. Unfortunately we moved out of the place where my husband got diagnosed and his new rheumy is such a crook, she tortured my husband with tons of useless & ineffective Salsalate for almost 3 months. Then she had put him on indosin SR(2/day) and Prednisone 1 dose pack. With in 2 weeks I called 911 admitted in hospital for diarrhea and vomitings. Later we came to know that it is GI bleeding caused by overdose of NSAIDs. Now he is not able to take NSAIDs/Cortico Steroids. The only medicine for his AS is Humira. Recently my husband is complaining tiredness, chills, joint stiffness and fever from the last 4 days. He also took Flu shot for this season because he usually gets Flu every year at this time. But, I'm not sure if his unhealthyness is just because of Flu, any other infection or any side effects of Humira he is also having sore throat and swelling under his chin since from the last year. Doctors here are really ruthless. I am not able to find rhuemies so easily each time we move to a new place. My rheumy told me not take a flu shot while taking Humira and to let him know if I have any kind of illness like he has. So Please check with his rheumy.Sorry got to go not being mean catch you later. When I first started Humera I was sick and felt worn out for about 5 days. Two weeks later I took my second shot and was sick almost as long. Over the months I didnt get as bad. As far as Is it working?,I dont know yet. I really dont think so. Over all I seem to hurt worse since starting the stuff. Ive gone from three Tramadol pain pills a day to four and some times five. Im still on the predisone. 10 Mg once and sometimes twice a day. I started slowing down on them but got to swelling just way to bad. I dont really like my rh doctor and he never really answers my questions. He's the only one around.
