Morning everyone!!!! Im here, yesterday my mom came over to help me get Kelsays room set up thats what I wasnt around......Trying to get the dr to call in another script for pain meds, I upped myself (i know its bad) to 15mg of pred and im still in sooooo much pain

Oh Honey, I am so very sorry that you are in a lot of pain. I was hoping that you could make it through all of this moving and stress without much effect. I am so very sorry. Take it easy, and keep up with the pain meds.
I have counselling today, and I really don't want to go. I am just so ambivalent about everything right now. I am frustrated and annoyed! Then I will come home and try to get something done. Jeff wants the tree and stuff down. I don't care...I guess I will just take it down and satisfy him.
I am definitely in a life sucks mood!

Shannon, it sounds like you need to slow down a little, and Shelly you need to get some help taking the tree and decorations down. I want my tree down too, but it's going to have to wait until tomorrow until hubby is home.
I just want some relaxation and stress relief. I will hopefully get that some day.
Hey, I always heard that you have to leave your tree up for the new year for good luck. At least that's what I told my hubby today. LOL

Did you go to the dentist?No, I need to do that next week. With Christmas and all it never crossed my mind. I have a few more days of antibiotics and my ear and teeth are feeling better. Do you think I still need to? I hate going to the dentist.Milly, how long have you been on antibiotics? I wonder if they will have me take more?

Well i had an actual cheek bone infection to start. I am not so bad about going to the dentist it just old cavities from when i was a kid that couldn't keep up. Then the RA and i was tired. Well sleeping all the time actually when i had everything but one taken care of. It spred while i was in my semi coma. I mean i made an appiontment with my doc, receptionist said reason for appiontment and i said arthrits. Well i missed the appiontment i couldn't wake up. I missed like two and said call me in some antibiotics so i can get out of bed and they did and they do not do that with out seeing you. And i was right it was RA. But thats why take care of things while you are awake.And when i did make it to the doctor i asked for vicoden and i do not do much as far as pain pills for my fibro. But RA swelling and my ears where hurting so bad. I like to be awake fully and fully alert when handed the opportunity. So i could not tell when the tooth got infected. And i was on pred so not really the noticeable swelling when a normal person gets an infection like that. Plus my face always hurts anyway. I did tell him my throat hurt and sjorgrens was so bad i had no redness. Just all dryed and shriveled up in my throat so they thought i just was trying to get AP theorapy, or else they thought i was nutty. I had to get a blood test to know i had an infection. Then a big black spot presented in the top of my mouth i thought i had gang green. So i was that sick and the hospital tryed to lock me up for being a hypochondriac and faking RA. Long story. RA can be a real pain. It is almost better i thought for the first three or four weeks i was going to die from the infection couldn't even move my arms hardly. But now it is just a litle gum swelling. Had one tooth pulled one fixed. Now another one may have a bit of root infection? My doc thinks. So now we are down to maybe just a root canal. Which sounds pretty simple at this point. Compared to a bone infection pretty simple.Geez, Milly, what a time you had! I am going to try on Monday to get in to dentist and then have pcp take a look see to make sure it's all good for my enbrel injection. My tooth does feel better and I have actually been chewing on that side of my mouth. Before it was so sensitive to hot/cold. I don't want to end up in the hospital.
I hope things are better by now.
