Of all the things I do to try to supplement the meds I take, I believe yoga has the most benefits.  I practice three times each day; 15 mins in the morning to loosen up, 15 mins at lunch time to relieve stress, and 30 mins in the evening to strengthen and loosen muscles around the joints.  Not only is it a good way to help stay mobile and active by keeping the joints as healthy as possible, it also alleviates stress and anxiety, which is a trigger, at least for me, for RA flares.  I saw this article which talks about some of the health benefits of yoga.  It's also an excellent way to feel like you have a bit more control of your life which is so often dominated by this disease.
