Hi guys!!! Just a quick moment checking in....I haven't quite got the time to read posts, but I can sure come back and check on this one. So please, give me a quick update!!!
Here's one on me: I'm at mom and dad's until wednesday. Justin's mom made it down and they're together putzing around. He sounds really happy. :) I almost didn't make it into WI!! The first plane out of FL had brake issues, and we had to go back to the gate! Turned out to be a computer error, and we got on our way about an hour late. So I missed my connection, and the next one wasn't until 7pm. (I got to Dallas at 10am.....hell of a layover, right?)
So I go down to where the connection left out of, just to see what they say.......and the plane's still there!!!! Come to find out, they had boarded and were ready to go, when THEY had an issue! Only they actually made everyone get off the plane, and wait for a new one. So I DIDN'T miss my connection! I just got in about 2 hours late. But that's not so bad really.
We went up north to Grandma & Grandpa's, and all the aunts and uncles and cousins. My oldest cousin is pregnant for the second time, and that was really awesome to see her. My younger cousin who got preg. when she was 17, well she decided to announce on the day that I got in that her and her "husband" were pregnant again. She only JUST turned 19. Her first kid isn't even 2 yet. She's such a dingbat, I really need to sit and spell out the whole story some time, it's amazing. He's a sex offender....do I REALLY need to say more??
So the first night there was pretty interesting. We were all piled at my aunt's house for "christmas" and EVERYONE was supposed to come. Well she and hubby had pissed off grandma and grandpa, so they didn't come. My aunt ended up going over and getting the baby so I could see her. I've never even met the kid before! She was just CUTE as hell! And loved me! Oh man I could have taken her home with me! LOL
I have a ton of pictures on my camera and mom's. When I get them loaded up and stuff I'll be sure to post them. We still have a football game to see, and New Years to ring in so my vacation isn't over yet!!
I just wanted to stop in and say hi! Oh, and despite the HORRIBLE bed at grandmas.....LOL I'm doing really well :) So that's good! Oh, and there is snow EVERYWHERE! So much snow snow snow! I'm freezing my tushie off! Haha

Aww Katie, don't be such a wimp, it's not that cold. I went outside today with just a light jacket. It was in the 30's and felt great to this girl from Illini country. I have a sister in FL and MS and when they visit they always complain it's cold, when I go there, I complain it's hot. lol
I bet you are cold, you little sunflower! Snow? What's snow? I bet everybody just about kissed your little face off! How long had it been since you last saw everyone?
We had a wonderful Christmas. Kids and Grandkids were here. Everyone brought their gifts to each other here, even though they all live less than a mile away. So it took 2 hours to open presents. But it was great fun!. Baby granddaughter is two and a half, and she was so cute opening her presents. We gave her, among many other things, a little soft-body Snow White doll. She says Snow White is her favorite princess
A good time was had by all! I hope the rest of our merry little band, had a very happy Christmas as well. I haven't been on much lately, so I hope everyone checks in and tells about their Holiday!
