Hi - from Tomorrowland.  It has just gone 30 min past midnight 31 Dec down here, so I am now officially in 1st January, 2008, Happy New Year Jeanne, I have an hour to go before my 2008 is here. I must be getting old. sitting home tired waiting for the clock to hit 12. how exciting hey.Yes me too, its 10.29pm here in Queensland, waiting up for the fireworks, Happy 2008 everyone.  Hugs Janie. Hi Jane, I am glad your brisbane fireworks will still be on, with all the bad stormy weather that you guys have had up there. My niece is somewhere on the goldcoast at the moment so hopefully the weather isnt too bad.Can you see the fireworks from where you are or do you watch them on telly.

Happy New year to all of the wonderful people down under and in New Zealand. I hope it will bring you lots of happiness. We were just chatting to friends in Browns bay in Auckland and they had just got home from  new Year party. Amazing that its already 2008 over there and we are just preparing for ours.

Speak to everyone in 2008

Jeanne, how fun your grandsons must of had.  Sounds like a lot of fun!

Happy New Year!

I wasn't up to going out anywhere this year but we were able to see one lot of fireworks near the Gateway Bridge, Brisbane from our verandah.  An effort for me to stay awake; then went to bed and an hour or so later I am still awake!!  Will cruise the boards, make a hot drink and have another go.

May everyone have a great 2008!

Lorraine
