OT: Advice from beaders & photographers | Arthritis Information

So I have finally been able to take more pics of the jewelry I have made and I need some feedback on the pics....

It's so wonderful that you are able to continue beading with RA. I'm sure it's good for you to use your hands. My oldest sister, who has had RA for over 40 years, has always told me to use my hands as much as possible. But I don't think I could ever do beading work like that. As it is I drop things like drinking glasses, all the time. I fear that those tiny beads wouldn't stand a chance.

Post some more if you can. They are really amazing! Do you sell them or is it something you do for your own pleasure. They are certainly lovely enough to be sold.

Have a  great day!

Hugs, Nini

Thanks Nini, I am trying to do it where I can sell them.  I'll post more as I get some new ones made

Awesome pictures Shannon!!!

I will see if I can find one of whats just around the corner.

What are you talking about Jay?

Thanks kels...Yea I think these came out much better as well.  And this time I even remember what I did so I can do it again LOL

Those are really neat. I think they would sell.

I bead too. It is really fun for me.

Do you think that the pics are good enough to use to advertise (for lack of a better word) to sell them?

Shannon, I think the pics would be great advertising! The colors and designs show up beautifully!

Jay, Your spring picture makes me want to run thru a field of flowers Great job on the pics and the jewelry!  I hope you got my email about picture taking and stuff.  I also try to make sure my flash does not go off when I take pictures of my work.  I use a bright light.  I have a very basic photo program that came with my camera.  I use it to clean up the pics, mostly for color.  I try to make the picture come as close to the real color of piece as I can.

I always think my work in magazines looks better than the actual piece does.  That is because they have professionals (and not me do it maryblooms39451.9782407407Oh, my brother also recommended using a white sheet or towel that has been draped over something as a backdrop.  That way there is a background and foreground.  He is a professional photographer and even he said it is hard to photograph "shiny" things. Thanks Mary!!!!  Tell your brother thanks for the tips too I just ordered a TON of beads so i'll be a busy bee for a while so it'll give me some things to work on and photograph.Your pics are wonderful. The only suggestion is maybe a model see you can see them on a person.

I sell on eBay and use free models all the time for my clothing. It makes a BIG difference in sales.

Here is a cheap WAHM (work at home mom) website that I just joined. .00 a month.
