Isn't it just the litttle things we notice and so appreciate. Like i looked in my throat yeaterday. I have a sore throat. But i noticed so much swelling had really gone away. I was like what a little tongue and that hanging thing back there was smaller. I can pull some skin on my arm. I could do this one other time and it did not last long but is appreciated. Just the skin on my arms and legs looks more like what my skin looks like or looked like before the flare. Not one hundred percent but wow better. The hands have a bit of healing to do yet. Fluke i am sure but i ate some honey a few nights ago. Had pred munchies so i ate a bunch poored it on bread. Not sure if it the right thing to do with glucose acting difficult. So anyway i showed improvement so i ate more yesterday. I did not eat any honey today. But just in case it is really the honey i have five huge jars in the cabinet. If not for the glucose thing i would have consumed them all by now. I would jump in a lake if someone told me it would cure RA. I drank two glasses of cranberrie juice yesterday as i was feeling kidney type problems. And had about two large glasses of pinapple juice at bed time. Anyway i have been doing alot fruit lately and i am normally a vegetable girl. My fave snack is green pepper slices dipped in avocado dip. Veggie juice and veggies is my norm but it did not seem to be working for me. And i at first was bloated in the tummy. That is much better today. Could all be as i started a different antibiotic last week and it is just now kicking in as it takes several days for this one to work. Could be the higher dose pred i was on for a week but that never helped me any before so something else must be getting better. Well i may have some honey tonight after all. I had really been eating it before bed anyway. I did eat it for a sore throat and well of course i still have a sore throat but it took the swelling out of it ,it seemed. But then doc said the Arava would go down to lower levels in my blood and allergy should get better in about a week and it has been over a week 8 days scince he said that. He did not want me to do the charcol thing he wanted the med to stay in me and work on my joints. Anyway it is funny. I lost so much swelling that when i went to grocerie i bought six jars of honey big ones. Logically it does not make sence but one never knows. LOL Anyway my son loves honey but he hasn't touched a drop as he wants me to get better and thinks he should save it all for me. I told him have at it as there is more at the store.

I love honey and so does son. We both eat it on bread or buttered toast. I might have to get us some! Someone told me about honey and apple cider vinegar mixed together but I never tried it because it sounded gross and I get so tired of hearing about everyone's remedy for ra. I have heard some off the wall stuff. LOL

I hope you continue to get better, Milly, feeling bad really sucks!

take care

Thats really how i feel that all of this crazy off the wall stuff is. I think as far as flukes happening this is how one could be convinced as they suddenly are getting feeling better. Well for years people told me eat honey for allergies. Supposed to be local honey sort of desensitises you i guess. That sort of makes sense as the docs send your blood to a lab and test blood for allergies adn make a potion of all that you allergic to. So the bees collect pollen. That makes sence. Anyway i tryed the desentitise at docs but was highly allergic to my allergy shots before it was all said and done. This is just grocery store honey i do not know what part of the world i am desentatising myself to i have not yet read the lable. But it was funny i woke up and rash was gone and bowel was better and swelling was better. But like i said doc already predicted that, i can see how a person can think it is a miricle cure whatever they may try right before they get feelling better. Anyway there are other reasons i have been eating alot of fruit and cereal. The bananas for the potasium are constapating, and an allergic reaction of the sort i had shut my bowel down. The large dose of honey helped soften the blow along with oatmeal , rasin bran, fruit juices ect.  That is one thing i will testify to. Honey at bed time and smooth sailing so to speak in the morning. Also if i am diabetic this fruit added to my diet would be why my glucose is jumping around all this sugar. I mean isn't that the cruelest joke. To have your bowel shut down and have to eat bananas. And i mean it was shut down for 10 days. Slightly uncomfortable. Anyway diabetics they pee alot. Eat sugar pee. So pee loose wieght. Loose fluid. When i am not flaring i eat meat and veggies and drink coffee. Cheese is my bad vice as i am high cholesterol girl and i can not drink milk. So when i want to sin i go for sharp chedder, my little niece is a cheese addict also we loved to raid the fridge for cheese cubes. So this is a different diet. So sugar to me may be a dieretic. So i maybe stuck in a cycle of peeing out my potasium. I will work on this tomorrow. That is my thoughts as to my honey cure, and fruit diet. milly39452.0261111111
