Hi all...I'm a new oldbie...or something like that, its been a while ;)
I had my gallbladder out on the 2nd and just can't seem to heal, I had allergic reactions to either the soap in the OR or the steri-strips and now I have what they believe is an infection. Amazingly my actual incisions are healing very well (in between the lovely rashes!)
Ive been off Enbrel for several weeks now between pre-op and post-op and I miss it! My jaw, chest and hips hurt!
My fears are that on April 20th I am having weight loss surgery which I have been waiting for but put off due to the lil gallbladder emergency (who knew that it wasn't working?!?! maybe I am TOO used to pain???)
Also, sometime later this year I am slated for major knee surgery (Fulkerson Osteotomy anyone?) but we are waiting so that I can loose some weight and have more success.
My RD isnt too concerned other than my healing from these surgeries but this recovery has been horrible
Anyways...any recommendations for healing from surgeries as it seems I am becoming the Surgery Queen!
