Just want to wish everybody a Happy new year filled with cheer, love and health.

As for me, my days have been filled with pain and sleep. Can't seem to get enough sleep. Our weather, in southern California, isn't helping either. We're having a weekend filled with cold rain storms.

To those that are in Ca., hope that you're safe, warm and dry. We haven't seen weather like this in a long time and of course, it isn't helping our joints.

Marisa

Hi Marisa,

Happy New Year to you too and I hope the new year brings you some relief from your pain.  Maybe your meds need to be tweaked?

Happy New Year to you to

Stay safe I read some of those storms are downright nasty.

Hi Marisa, how's the knees doing?  Stay safe and I hope that 2008 brings you less pain.  Take care.  Lindy

Hi Marisa, it's good to see you back. I'm so sorry the rains and cold weather are keeping you in pain. I'm in the San Diego County area and we've been getting them too. But if I remember correctly, you are in Orange County, aren't you? I know you are somewhere a bit north of me. You are all getting hit harder than us with the rain. It's been cold, windy and rainy but not real hard rains here. But it's cold and damp enough to keep me in pain, too. Even with all my pain meds I just can't seem to control the pain in my back.

I'm starting the Arthritis Foundation's Aqua Program soon. I have to go almost 20 miles to get to a warm water, indoor pool, but that is where I always feel the best. As long as I'm in warm water, it seems to just lift the pain from my back. As soon as I get out it comes right back. But a little relief is better than none! They keep this pool at 92 degrees. At least I can get myself moving a little

I hope you feel better soon! Happy New Year to you, too, Sweetie. It's so good to hear from you. I sure wish you were feeling better, though. My prayer for the New Year is that we all have a more comfortable year and that more strides are made in the fight against all forms of Arthritis.

Be well! Hugs, Nini
