OT Kangaroo Island Holiday | Arthritis Information

Hi folks, I'm finally back from my holiday.  It was a great break although it was VERY hot! New Years Eve was 118 degrees F.  We camped among heaps of wildlife and saw lots of wonderful things.  Especially the Remarkable Rocks.   The National Park had huge fires through the first couple of weeks of December that burnt 20% of the island so there was lots of fire damage, but it was still impressive.  I flared mildly the whole time but just kept plugging away slowly.  Mark went for 3-4 hour hikes while I napped in the afternoons.  Here are a few photos and a link to some more.

I WANNA GO!!!!

Wow, beautiful pictures.

What the heck is that in picture #6?  Is that part of the tree or has something attached to it?  Sorry if it's a dumb question.  I'm just a country girl from Indiana.  [QUOTE=arriscolwell]Alright, then WTF is # 5???

Koalas are soooo cute  but they make this hideous grunting noise that sounds like they are about to throw up!

The Photo's are wonderful Pam. Looks like a great place to visitWhat marvelous photographs!

Australia is one of the places I've dreamed of visiting since I was just a little girl. It's such a beautiful and amazing environment!

Pam thanks for sharing them with us. Envy can be a good thing.

I will add it to my growing list of things to do one day!

Jay
