starting with a trip to baja mex nov15. and ending with a case of disentary 3 days after the gi issues resolved every muscle/joint in my chest back was extremely sensitive (hard to move at all without extreme pain)that lasted 3 days then subsided and my knee swelled up and my r thumb felt sprained. i got my knee tapped which relieved most of the pain but the next day had to do it again then the orthopod wanted to surgically clean it out so the next day I was in the or. the fluid removed from the knee was sterill. a few days after that my back started hurting espicially at night when i slept. now nothing has changed my knee is swollen thumb is sprained and back kills at nightwith night sweats forcing me to take percocet to sleep. I need to see a dr who deals with arthritis and try some meds that can get me back to work its been a little over a month and hoping it would run its corse. thats the short story and am still trying to learn and cope. Speed - sorry you had to find us and welcome aboard.  We seem to congregate over on the RA threads, but I hope you find some fellow posters who have your diagnosis.  Keep fighting :)  Cathythanks for the tip on ra threads it seems like most of the people on the net have had ongoing as in years of problems whith this but when i read the med info out there they indicate a probable 3-4 month duration and low percentage of reoccurance. i would think that more people who had these symptoms would be on the net to see whats going on wether it was their first time or the've had it for years. anyways thanks for the reply.
