Hi guys;

I'm not sure if any of you are in the line of this horrible hurricane but I'll be praying that none of our AI friends are involved.

Chim in here if you are or know anyone who is so we can start a prayer list.

It's likely to be a while for us to hear from them after tonight.

God Bless you all...

Lovie

Lovie38592.6331018519 Lovie, I was thinking Joonie  maybe close to getting a lot of the storm in Alabama. Earlier I posted it here but I don't think she's been on

Oh I sure hope not...

It looks so horrible. That storm is so big....many, many people will be affected.

Yea, I feel so bad for everyone there...it's not looking good at all. Some of the people aren't even evacuating..they think they can out run the storm surge of 20ft er so....there will be major devastation ..the strenght of it is "catostrophic".   They are talking that it could be the 2nd worse hurricane to hit the U.S.

Hello Everyone!

I am here. I was just sleeping the day away until 3:00pm. Then went up to the in-laws. It has been a very bright sunny day today...some dark clouds but no rain...just a lil' humid and hot, but other then that we are doing OK!!

I am not too worried about the storm as of right now, because father-in-law, one of the BIGGEST worry wart on the planet, seems to not be too worried. PLUS, there was still a WHOLE lota bread left on the bread isle today at Freak-Mart..lol.

You know it is going to be semi-bad when the bread starts disappearing off the shelves and off the bread man cart before he has chance to put the bread on the shelves...lol.

Oh and when all the cheap batteries and flash lights are ALL gone...lol.

Yeah, those are our indicators...lol.

True dat about bread, never seen the isles so nekkid before! Same goes for water, can goods, gas...seen all that last year here. Glad to see you here!

Joonie....sounds like you're the closest one. Hope everything at your house stays safe. You'll no doubt have lots of rain.

Check in with us when you can.

Karen~I love your little hurricane guys!! Too approprate.

Joonie, lots of tornadoes going thru GA...Alabama looks to be in the tornado zone too...hunker down as my friends say!  Friends in GA were having to go hide in hallways and bathrooms this evening.  The pictures of the aftermath look horrible. I hope everyone is ok. Hope you are ok Joonie, please check in with us when you can.

JOONIE....Check in with us please!!!

I imagine she's lost power by now. Hopefully that's the worst of it for her area.

You're in our thoughts Joonie.

I hope you're safe Joonie, our funny friend.

Jackie

Joonie- Hope you are safe-  Hurricanes are no fun...I lived thru a couple of them when I was younger.  They wreck havoc on those areas they pass thru.  Floods, winds, power lines it is horrid.  It will take months for alot of the people hit hard by Katrina to just begin to rebuild.

I pray that the American Red Cross and FEMA will be prepared and that all these people get the help they need.  We should all pitch in as we can- I think that there will be places we can drop off blankets, coats, canned food and of course money- Even if you only have a dollar or two you can spare it is a big help to all these folks.

Hope you are OK Joonie. Have been following the news coverage here in the UK. Looks damn scary!!

Hi Guys!

I am still here and "not in the land of Oz" as hulagirl says..LOL But then again some of ya knew that already ...lol.

It was not too bad here. We just had rain and some winds started about 4pm Monday and lasted until 5'something am. It was a nice bright and sunny day today (tuesday).

Thanks for all your concerns!Yay, Good to see you Joonie. Glad you're OK.
