I was wondering if we had any Muncie, Indiana, Indianapolis or surrounding area folks on here.
I'm about an hour away from Indy.
I am in northern KY, I would guess about a little over 2 hours away.A few hours away.Hey! GReat...how is the job market?
I contacted a friend of mine in Muncie, Indiana...lucky dog she is on vacation this week and next while her daughter runs their furniture store.
Anyway, she said her sis had a furniture store in michigan and they had to sell out cause of the economy....they moved away too.
I am trying to learn what areas are cheaper for rent. THere are always high rent areas and low rent areas, I will need lower end but not inner city, I need a really safe place...any ideas are welcomed!

Where exactly are you wanting to move? Is Muncie your preference?
As far as cities go i feel that Indi is a pretty safe one. Surrounding areas should be fine also. It isn't the most populated city in the world a pretty nice place i think. well it has been about two years scince i actually went there shoping and such but i always felt pretty safe.My brother used to live just a couple of miles south of 465 and he loved that area.Something has to happen within the next 5 years, actually realistically in the next year. The economy in Michigan is horrible and jobs are nearly impossible to find. Indianapolis has more job opportunities for certain.
THe situation that we are currently in is not good for everyone involved.
Oh well thanks for the input......I cannot move. I cannot. I haev responsibilities to take care of.
I miss INdiana though, but it is just not meant to be.

I'm realy worried about you! I know your Mom is very ill, but I just don't think you are the right person to care for her. It seems she has a real problem with you, if she treats you that badly. Could your sis take care of her or, I hate to say this, but she seems to exhibit such cruelty, that maybe she needs to be in a facility that specializes in Alzheimers patients.
You are ill, yourself. I don't know if I missed something, but it seems to me your daughter has made other plans?

My daughter and Dan have made arrangements to move to his parents. YEp, we just got them moved in and there was an argument over a document to be signed. THey were told to leave if they did not sign it.
My sister removed mother from the home because mother is to have surgery on her knee Wednesday ( I have been told not to be there) because I am making mothers life miserable. I am to get out if I cannot ...........if I cannot be respectful.
My sister stated that I am abusive to mother, that mother does not have Alzheimers and is fine once she has her knee replaced.
I have requested to remain in the home because I have no job, no car, no money, no credit. I have lived here taking care of the property and mother and never established any credit. That was immaturity on my part.
THat is all I can state at this time.
